Scammy company

You're forced to call to downgrade your service. No option to downgrade or change from the website. And even when you do call they don't downgrade. Spent an hour waiting to talk to a rep last month to cancel my premium subscription and was just charged again for premium. Making it a pain in the butt to cancel is a deliberate and scammy decision on their part. Super sketch. If you're considering this company, stay away.

Di2 Conversion of Apollo Ti

Got the Apollo Ti last winter as a bad weather bike, mostly for commuting (35mi round trip three-ish times a week), and have put several hundred miles on it. But I couldn't stand the janky mechanical/hydraulic brakes, terrible ergonomics on the drops, and the ugly aesthetics of the shifting cable coming out the side of the right drop. It kind of ruined the bike for me since my other bikes (traditional drivetrains) are all internally routed cables and super tidy cockpits.

My local bike shop mentioned there's a di2 version of the Alfine 11spd hub, which got me thinking about a conversion to GRX. Finally decided to do it when I saw a clearance on GRX 11spd brakes/hoods, and went down the rabbit hole. Photos show the final product. Happy to give a parts list if any of is interested. Ended up costing roughly $850, not including bike shop labor to rebuild the wheel with the new hub and so on.

Best car in France for 4 people + bike

TL;DR: best car for family of 4 + luggage + bike to get around in France?

Hey all - we are going to France in July during the TdF. Some time in Paris, Riviera, and then the Alps. When we arrive in the Riviera we plan to rent a car to get around to small towns and explore the area (in Paris we'll just use public transit and walk). We are a family of 4 -- 2 adults, 2 kids around age 10. The rub is we'll each have our own carry-on-sized suitcase and probably backpacks (so 4 carry-ons 4 backpacks), PLUS I'm bringing my bike packed in a wheeled bike bag so I can ride some while in France. The safe bet is a Renault Trafic, but all the places we're staying that have parking say it'll either be too long or too tall to fit in their covered parking garages. Are there alternatives that could work instead of such a large vehicle? I'm thinking like a three row SUV where we can put the rear seats down or something (in the US, we could easily make a Volvo XC90, for example). Options at Avis are either the Trafic or compact SUVs. The only time we'd really have to fit everything all at once is on our drive from the Riviera to the Alps, and from the Alps to Geneva airport; otherwise it'll be local driving without luggage.
