Broke my ankle 4 weeks ago and my immobility has triggered old thoughts

I haven’t been able to put weight on my foot so I have to rely on a knee scooter and a lot of help (it’s my right ankle so I can’t even drive). It’s a perfect storm of being out of control in general since I need so much help, but then also feeling out of control with my body because I have had to be so sedentary and I haven’t been able to go to the gym for 4 weeks.

It’s caused my ED thoughts (that had been quiet for a while) to get really loud. I feel like I don’t deserve to eat since I’m not moving. I’m so afraid of gaining weight since I’m sedentary that I want to restrict.

The thoughts have been consuming me. I don’t see people as friends or colleagues right now - I just see people that I’m jealous of because they’re not tortured by their minds and food.

Does anyone have any experience with immobility triggering their ED?

I looked up the other woman panelist - Dr. Gail Saltz

And I learned two things: in her post about the 92NY event she acknowledged she got a lot of emails about Hillary. Her only response: “yowza!” Curious as to who she’s judging here. And this panel was originally scheduled for April 19th without Guest Baldwin on the lineup. Gail first advertised this panel back on March 25th - and Hills is noticeably missing from the flyer. What happened between March 25th and April 19th that caused Alec to bribe 92NY to appease Hillary’s ego?

Doc that reminded me of Hillary

I broke my ankle the other day so I’m using my bedridden time to catch up on documentaries. I just watched “An Update on Our Family” - it’s about Mika Stauffer, the family vlogger who adopted a baby from China and rehomed him 2 years later. It goes into the monetization of pregnancy content; how these family vloggers use children to gain likes, views, followers, and sponsorships. The only difference between Mika and Hillary is Mika went away when she was cancelled. Hillary refuses.

This is a narcissistic, disordered eating, body checking fool filming these poor stylists getting her ready and making it obscene! She sexualizes everything: breast feeding, caressing her kids, kissing her kids, running with her kids, and now this. She needs therapy ASAP.
