First time Resin printing experience with S4U - Any ideas?

3rd try on the test rook and I've finally got it printing.

slightly painful first time experience,

I used some Isopropanol to wipe down the plate after removing the protective films, replacing the vat bolts with the hand screws, and updating the firmware to current.

I went straight in with lychee (my fault, I know) and used the community settings for Sunlu ABS-like. tried that in .ctb format.

Queue print not sticking to plate, stuck to PFA instead.

Second attempt after cleaning that up, I tried modifying the settings for a longer burn in exposure, 35s and 15s wait-before-cure and exported in .goo as I heard CTB doesn't support custom wait before times. I've seen this helps with thicker resins like my Sunlu ABS-like

second print, another disc just stuck on the PFA.

this time, it's making a popping noise on release after trying the pre-sliced test file (a good sign, as I know this comes from the deliberately overexposed settings on the test print)

but, the print is actually attached to the plate, so semi successs so-far.

honestly? I have no clue what's wrong with my first attempts as it's using the commmunity settings on a pre-designed model.

Removing tank clean for first failed print

I got my Saturn 4 Ultra yesterday. Doing the test print, I can't get it to stick to the plate. 2 tests, and it's glued to the PFA. All the methods say 'add supports from a previous print' which I don't have as I'm a first tine printer. How do I clean and remove the failed disks from the elegoo rook without damaging the film?

Found near Gryphaea Fossils so presumably Jurassic Ocean. 2 parts of an impression of something, possibly a Gastropod? UK

Resin Setup Tips

Hey!

I'm looking to set up resin printing in my garage Hobby room. it's a small room about 6 by 4 or 5ft (a cupboard, basically) for me to do Airbrushing and printing in.
My concern is ventilation. It's not feasible to smash a hole in the wall or vent out of a door, so would it be a reasonable setup with something similar to a Creality VOC extractor unit and printer all inside a sealed growtent in an airtight environment?
As it's in the garage, I'm not worrying about living in there with it, I just need something safe to be around while I'm airbrushing etc as my main hobby area is in the house.

Any suggestions or points to raise would really help me out! Thanks!
