Our beloved cat Çörek (prononounced as cho-reck, first part sounds like chu from churros) has been missing since the night of 3–4 July 2026 (excuse the typo in the poster) and we are desperately trying to bring him home.

📍 Last seen:
Near Dominee C. Spoorlaan 42, 2631 DC Nootdorp, close to Poeliersbedrijf Sprinkhuizen (Spoorlaan neighborhood).

Çörek is a young black-and-white male with a very long, fluffy black tail (his most distinctive feature), a pink nose, and yellow eyes.

He is strictly an indoor cat and is easily frightened outside. He is likely hiding nearby rather than wandering far. Scared indoor cats often stay silent and squeeze into tiny hiding places such as sheds, garages, bushes, under decks, under cars, or dense vegetation.

If you live in the area, please take a few minutes to check your garden, shed, garage, and any small, sheltered spaces. Even if you think you’ve already looked, another careful check could make all the difference.

There is a €250 reward for information leading to his safe return.
