Hi all,

need some recommendations for a power supply, for 3 main pedals:

• tuner (korg pitchblack x mini)
• compressor (mxr super comp)
• preamp/di (TBC)

i don't really plan to add more pedals (yet) but i'll get something that will accommodate 1 or 2 additional pedals. ideally i'll add a pedalboard soon n the power supply will either live underneath.

what do i look for in a power supply, which midrange brand/model do you recommend?

Pretty simple request, honestly. I've not used binary lasers with YAML, any build suggestions (esp with screenshots) would be appreciated. Any weight class but the lighter the better.

Hi all

Returning player looking to rebuild a basic pedal board. Back when I actively played I stuck with a rather minimum setup of a tuner, compressor, n DI, maybe (n very rarely) an overdrive or another pedal. I gravitate around rock music - from metal, classic rock, pop rock, to ska, not necessarily in that order.

Quickly looking at stompboxes from different brands n manufacturers, I'm kinda seeing the below for budget, mid range, n top tier choices.

• Start with the mid range combo (Korg Pitchblack X Mini, MXR M87, MXR M81)
• If budget allows, swap to Keeley Bassist and/or Tech 21 SansAmp V2
• kinda related, I plan to fashion a pedal board out of a lunchbox to fit and carry these, i'll add some rubber stoppers for its feetsies to help stop it from sliding around (unless i can score a nicer one)

Would appreciate thoughts and/or suggestions!

Hi all

I have a spare couple of hours to go to The Hangout on my SG visit, asking what should I focus on trying for midrange general audio listening n gaming experience.

I come from a headphones background, but I have the first Moondusk Aria (circa 2020) for PC audio n gaming, n a 7Hz x Crinacle Salnotes Zero:2 (circa 2025) for mobile phone listening. I usually tend to balanced or slightly V shape sound signatures, nothing too extreme on any end.
