Hi everyone! I recently got a young kitten and I’m trying to make sure I’m doing everything right as a first-time kitten owner.

She’s generally active, curious, eating normally, and loves following me around the house. She also sleeps quite a lot during the day, but when she’s awake she’s very playful.

One thing I’m unsure about is how much sleep is considered normal for a kitten this age. She can go from running around and playing to completely passing out a few minutes later 😂

She doesn’t seem to be in pain and I haven’t noticed anything obviously wrong, but I’d rather ask people with veterinary experience than assume everything is normal.

How much sleeping is normal for a young kitten, and what signs would indicate that the sleeping is actually a concern?
