Is Far Cry 2 an Immersive Sim?

I haven’t seen this question asked here even after searching, so I’ll just ask it myself: is Far Cry 2 an immersive sim? I believe it is. The minimal HUD, the way the map works and the fast travel system are just a few ways this game goes out of its way to be immersive, even at the cost of convenience.

Dueling Sabre Recommendations?

I wanna get into HEMA, specifically sabre fencing. I have a couple real sabers that I can practice solo drills with, but none that I’d be willing to risk damaging in a duel. If I’m getting a dueling sabre I want it to be good quality. Any recommendations?

Alternatively, would it be possible to simply borrow a sabre while dueling and then use my cutlass or kyu gunto for solo drills?

Edit: I should clarify my interest is in military sabre fencing.

My Kyu Gunto from 1883

Still sharp, leather isn’t original. Came with a reproduction tassel but I removed it. Everything else is original. Blade is 2 feet long.

Update: My Shae is Doing Much Better!

We had a real good scare this week but she’s her old self again. She runs around the house, barks at strangers at the door, goes for long walks and even started getting up on the couch and snuggling with me again. She no longer gets stuck in corners or falls down the stairs either. She’s 17 and I was worried her days were numbered, so it’s so nice to see her in good health again.

Worried About My Dog

She’s a super well behaved, well trained dog who loves to cuddle. Starting last night she’s been peeing indoors without even trying to make it, has been walking off ledges and falling from dangerous heights, paces around the house slowly for hours with no real aim, walks into corners and furniture and gets stuck, and when I pick her up to cuddle she shrieks and nips at me. I’m worried her mind is starting to fade…

Can I use a real blunted sword?

I inherited a blunt M1845 British naval cutlass. It’s completely blunt, even the point has been rounded.
It’s tarnished to hell and probably worthless in its condition, but it’s still very sturdy. Note that I got it in this condition, I have not been abusing it. The steel is still springy and it can flex back to its original shape when bent. Could this be used in HEMA fencing?
