As in the picture; the BS about making an exception doesn’t mean anything, obviously I could pay for the room at the time of booking and the price wouldn’t be any different. Incidentally, I paid with points and cash and what’s left of the cash part gets to have the $250 refund as well.
Just as in the title; I had no idea the $500 Southwest credit compounds, even the once a year along with the $300 annual credit pay for the card; everything else is gravy. I normally don’t fly SW but I’m at their hub and there are places where they go direct; so why not. Here, I guess I spent the $75k required twice within the same 365 days and over two annual card cycles? Not sure. They somehow gave me two $500 credits.
