Hey so I am in Canada and in my 30s. Looking to move careers after 10 years in VFX. I know some Cpp. Python and Linux. Looking to do an AEC in networking admin and support and move into basic IT roles before doing some certs to try and move across to Blue team.
Is this still a better route than going straight into an AEC cyber even with my past work? I'm unsure if employers will see my past experience as anything or will it seem like I am starting from 0?
In the title. Slowly finding that pandaria speed and vibe is my fave so far. I'm playing tbc atm but it feels rough as someone who came from retail due to not liking the meta chasing m+ grindy mentality. Mop seems to be my prefect middle ground plus panda monks. So I want to invest more time in MoP but scared it will disappear or become unlisted at some point soon. Thoughts?
