I'm looking into a property in Stouffville and ran into a weird issue with the town's building department. The house isn't even that old, but the Town claims they have absolutely no closed permit files or records on file for it.

Has anyone else dealt with Whitchurch-Stouffville just... not having records for a relatively modern build? Is it common for them to purge files after a certain timeframe, or does this mean it was genuinely built without permits?

Also, if the town clerks are being slow to respond, what’s the best way to actually get a copy of the original building plans? Does going into the physical offices with owner authorization work better than email?

The image generation limits via chat has reduced significantly over the last 24-48 hrs and in the last week or so it resets 24hrs later rather than 12 hrs. I could only generate about 20 images this morning. Usually closer 60 to 80ish. Last night it was glitching and wouldn't even try to create any risky images. They must have changed something overnight. This is for image generations via chat.
