Do I just call it and start preparing for the next event?

Do I just call it and start preparing for the next event?

I have two large orders lined up that are 6 + 4 shovels. Deciding whether to keep going with this or save them for the next event now...

No rules in this subreddit? Would be good to report people being misogynistic

This subreddit is a fun space, and a safe space, it's for fans of Florence. When I see a post calling Florence's album art inappropriate because she's 40, or she's "sitting like a man and it's gross" I want to be able to report those people to the mods as Reddit would not consider those a breach of their rules, but they're misogynistic comments and also hateful towards Florence.

A lot of subreddits have their own rules so when you go to report a post it can be reported to the mod team to enforce their own rules. This means they can be stricter rules than reddits own which sadly allow a lot of misogyny and hate speech as long as it isn't threatening violence, and even then they have a lot of bots reviewing stuff so it's not guaranteed to be dealt with.

The Koi always arrive after I use all my energy

Does this happen to everyone else? When the Koi mini event starts it's always after I've just finished all of my energy, even if I've been playing for a while already

For example today the koi event started at 09:19, so it wasn't scheduled to start on a specific time, it was literally as I used my last few energy

I guess they do it intentionally so it takes longer to complete the koi

Is energy multiplier worth it for slower progress on seasonal rewards?

I rack up a lot of the seasonal rewards points with the merge 100 times quest, this is slower if I use the energy multipliers

What's the gameplay benefit of the multipliers? Is it getting more items before the generator cooldown?

Is this a gooner sub or reclaimed by fans?

The age old question for every female celebrity subreddit

The top posts of all time feature a lot of older posts that look like classic goon posts, all the comments are implying sexual things, quite a few explicitly sexual comments. A few subreddits have been reclaimed over time and had a bit of a clear out....

Commodification of 'witchy' aesthetics

I've noticed in the past few years that 'witchy' aesthetics have gained popularity online. Particularly through content creators and influencers.

These creators initially seem to promote an alternative lifestyle, promoting nature and a more intellectual perspective than other creators, however there's still a big romaticisation of specific aesthetics which then comes with products/ fashion / makeup / home decor etc. No doubt making people feel they can purchase their way to a witchy lifestyle, once again duping mainly women out of their money.

I see people going to places like Edinburgh to have a "witchy day" which just involves going to "witchy" shops. So having a witchy day is just....shopping?

It's gotten to the point where the word witchy makes me roll my eyes, what does it even mean?

To me, something is not witchy unless it's based in alternative lifestyles, rejects expectations of gender, rejects capitalism and all forms of oppression.

I see a similar thing with the history of the persecution of witches, it's been turned into a spooky fun story. Come to this place haunted by scary witches who are actually a group of women murdered by the state in cold misogyny.

I'm tired of what I see as other women watering it down to be more marketable and palatable to the patriarchy.

I'm just ranting at this point, but I'm interested in hearing what everyone else makes of the trend.

I feel like hyping up Leeds culture for some reason

I can never let an argument drop, don't worry I've already defended Leeds culture, but I feel like celebrating it here!

Museums: Royal Armouries is a world class museum, a national museum. Kirkstall Abbey museum, Thackray Museum of Medicine, Henry Moore Institute, Leeds Art Gallery, Leeds City Museum.

Leeds International Piano Competition: one of the top INTERNATIONAL piano competitions known for high standards and launching careers.

Opera North and Northern Ballet: internationally touring companies based in Leeds, very high standard of productions, barely any other cities have their own opera companies outside of national ones.

Cultural diversity: Big south Asian cultural influence also east Asian, Caribbean, African. Cultural events and institutions ran by these communtiies.

Tolerant society: big LGBTQ+ scene, both smaller and larger venues and Leeds Pride. Counter protests against nationalists, weekly pro palestine marches.

Food: diverse and good quality, most world cuisines are catered for. A lot of food events as well.

Music: honestly everyone just knows Leeds has a good music scene. Amazing venues including an Arena. We've managed to sustain a new venue with Project House, quite an achievement considering the struggles of the live music industry. Variety of music from Howard Assembly Room to Wardrobe, Attic, Brudenell, City Varieties, Belgrave. Millenial Square outdoors. Leeds festival.

Theatre: Playhouse and Leeds grand theatre both doing great stuff, also a comedy club.

Cinema: historic cinemas and Leeds International Film Festival is the biggest in the UK outside of London.

Carnival: Leeds West Indian Carnival is one of the longest running in all of Europe.

Industries: Fast growing tech sector which is already well established. UKs third largest manufacturing centre. Largest Legal and Financial sector in England outside of London. Big private sector presence.

Education: Leeds University is the 4th most popular in the UK. Specialist universities for Arts and Music

Sport: International Test Cricket. Football, Rugby and Hockey teams. Tour de France Grand Depart.

Leeds International Festival of Ideas, and Leeds Lit Fest

Tell me more things to love about Leeds please!

▲ 1 r/vinted

On a few occasions I've reported items for being listed as vintage when I could easily identify the original brand, and it wasn't a vintage item. For example a Zara top.

Every time the response from vinted was that it wasn't against their terms.

However if I ordered an item fraudulently listed as vintage, only to find it wasn't, I would definitely want a refund. I was trying to prevent people from being misled but they apparently don't care.

Has anyone received an item incorrectly labeled this way and were you able to get a refund? I'm wondering if it isn't against their terms then would it be a valid refund reason?
