Who is most consistently well written character?

Who is most consistently well written character?

I mean by that, we know him/her so enough that we predict what they are gonna do.

I would go for Draken imo (he's my fav for a reason). Firstly, I tried to remember which character that I've seen in different situations and predicted their actions + being well written. I found out a few ones, Mitsuya, for example, when he joined 2nd gen Toman or Chifuyu being always loyal to Baji or Takemichi or Baji who sacrificed himself for the sake of his friends (even though he had much less screen time than others, but he was well written).

But Draken, I've never once was surprised by what his actions. He's weirdly extremely consistent. He's so logical yet loves and cares about his loved ones deeply. When anything happened, ig most can predict what's he gonna do, not in the boring way, but in a way we know him too well to know what's he gonna do.

Who is the best older brother in TR?

Well, I was hesitating who to choose between him or Shinichiro because Shinichiro did handle so much himself, but I would say it is Mitsuya. (Idk if this question even got asked before)

  1. Their mother wasn't around from a very young age, yet he took responsibility and took care of his sisters by himself.

  2. He did keep them away at all, that we've rarely seen them on screen, from all his shit happening in his life.

  3. I'll count it as a bonus as they are not siblings, but he loved Hakkai as a younger sibling, and instead of coddling him, he made him stronger and changed his mentality and showed him what an older brother, a healthy one, should be.

  4. Not everyone knows this or can feel it, but he's a parentified child, many don't get how easily they can be resentful of taking care of their siblings when they needed someone to take care of them, yet Mitsuya? He never shown resentment to anyone, let alone his little sisters.

Which fight you wanted to see but didn't get?

I did wanna see them face each other. Not just for fighting skills or techniques, but more for Kukoshibo to be exposed to what he has become (that already happened in a different way), but it would have hit different if the dialogue Rengoku said to Akaza was to Kukoshibo.

To make it fair as possible, I would exchange him with Sanemi and surely Rengoku would be marked by then like the others (I can still only imagine how terrifying marked Rengoku would be)

Who is the kindest guy in Tokyo revengers?

And by kind, I mean someone who has power or influence yet chooses to be kind (like I don't see Takemichi being "kind" as he's portrayed, he just doesn't know any better imo)

From the pic, yeah, this mf is the kindest imo in this show.

  1. He's literally one of the most violent guys in this show, yet he doesn't abuse this power, but rather, he's very loyal to who he loves, and Toman, and that was so obvious when he sacrificed himself at the Valhalla battle to keep Toman protected, especially Mikey. When Kazutora stabbed Baji, Mikey was gonna kill him as Takemichi saw in future, but that's when Baji stabbed himself to diffuse Mikey's attention from Kazutora to his death and for Mikey not to blame Kazutora Baji died, but for him to see that Baji killed himself.

  2. I don't wanna rehearse all their relationship cuz I would write a lot, but to wrap it up, Baji is the one who gave a healthy example to Chifuyu what "partner in crime" means, that's why Chifuyu gladly and wasn't bitter to follow someone like Takemichi who is weaker, cuz he got to know he's a partner not a subordinate.

  3. Guys, he's damn Baji, that's a reason by itself.

There are other branches reasons but it would be too much to write them, so those above are the main reasons why I see him the kindest.

Who is the smartest character in Tokyo Revengers?

(We all know it is Kisaki Tetta, but he isn't an option here, so I make it fun and have more creative answers)

I'll start and say Koko might actually be the 2nd smartest overall after Kisaki. To me they've similar type of intelligence.

  1. They both aren't loyal to anything but their practical or transactional benefit. They're both very gang fluid, like Kisaki thought Osanai was the first step to reach Mikey, then got one shotted by Mikey, then joined Toman cuz he still saw Mikey as main target, he went to different gangs to try and defeat Mikey or make him submit to his plans. Koko is the same in terms of changing gangs, he went to Taiju to be Black Dragon leader cuz he saw him a strong leader, when he got defeated, he went to the next big thing, Tenjiku, and in >!2007/8 I don't remember, he went to Kanto Manji Gang cuz Mikey was the stronger and in far future, he went to Bonten cuz still Bonten was the strongest.!<

  2. Koko is the smartest with getting and maintaining money and we know how obsessive he became about it after Akane incident. Even he was still a young teenager, he made a fortune for someone that age through gangs and in every gang he went to, he always has been a higher up for his smartness with money. He's in a league of his own for this one.

  3. He's the one who turns gangs from chaos that makes nothing to an organisation that gets net profit. I've thought about it. If Koko wasn't in Tenjiku, Izana wouldn't have said confidently (I don't remember quote exactly) that he sees Tenjiku to enter Yakuza world, why? Cuz you can't go from a delinquent gang that lives off fight bets to a Yakuza that has many sources of money incoming and outcoming without someone like Koko.

(Again, guys, don't say Kisaki as I said he isn't an option to make this fun)

Is there a way to bypass the age verification thing?

First time posting about it and idk if this is the right place but here goes nothing.

I haven't used the app since the age verification thing and I've just made a new account, so how to not get flagged to do age verification if there's a way?

I rather feel sad for her

I just saw her video with her showing off her house and Sabina was holding the camera. Anyways, I just felt sad for her, like, she has all this house and all this space, yet it screams empty.

I don't mean the design and decorations, but I mean the vibes and energy, and the fact that she's living there alone or Sabina is staying with her idk, but still, why buy or rent a house this big if you're gonna be living alone? Maybe it is about perspective, but I feel that big space just amplifies loneliness she must have.

Idk if that's her intention or not, but is she showing off? Like "Look mfs what did I reach" ?

Who is your favourite girl in TR?

It would be none other than Yuzuha Shiba for me (my aim from this post are all things other than beauty😭).

  1. She protected her brother, even though he's big in size himself and surely stronger (guys are stronger on average, hope it makes sense).

  2. She kept Hakkai's insecurity a secret (that he's afraid of confronting Taiju and taking his beating).

  3. She wanted to kill Taiju cuz she wanted to protect Hakkai😭.

  4. She's tough without needing to sound like a guy (idk how to explain it more than saying simply this).

  5. Even in future, she stayed closest to Hakkai by being his manager.

What hashira has the coolest fight style?

That's with strength aside, so it is Tengen Uzui to me for sure.

  1. He literally fights by analysing opponent's attacks as musical notes, he makes their attacks literally as a rhythm.

  2. In the fight with Gyutaro, if any other hashira got that poison, they would have been dead so quickly, at least relatively to how long Tengen fought for.

  3. His weapon is my fav tbh, the chains with those cleavers and swinging them around instead of just boring sword swinging.

  4. The explosives he has are "flashy" as he puts them.

  5. He's extremely agile and fast for someone his size.

  6. He's damn Tengen Uzui, that's a reason by itself.

(Guys, Tengen ain't my fav character cuz it is Rengoku, but fair is fair).

What fight you wanted and didn't get to see?

I'll start. I damn wanted to see a 1V1 OF DAMN DRAKEN VS HANMA SHUJI!. They're so unlike each in terms of personality (I like contrast between opponenets personalities), and I've a feeling this is one of the most balanced fights that we could have ever watched.

Not the one we got in Valhala arc, no, a full 1v1 with nothing intervening. They both did look themselves to even want that fight to happen and it looked fun to them.

My winner would be Draken (yes, he's my fav, but he's the number 2 in Toman for a reason, but tbf, if they fought 100 fights, Draken may win 55 and Hanma win 45), but he will be nearly totally spent, and I can imagine them giving their all to this fight. (I ain't forgiving the manga or anime for not showing how strong Draken is when he knocked down 100 black dragon members by himself).

Is there a better main character other than Takemichi in TR?

First of all, I've always hated Takemichi as a main character. He's a crybaby, always waits for others to come and finishes the fight while he risks being dead. He isn't even functionally strong for this verse or even average, and even in the future, he worked a bare minimum wage job.

Now, let's speak about I find him the best fit for this verse. Let's think about how Takemichi acted since he time leapt, he fought Kiyomasa head on cuz he wanted to be confident to stand up for himself and his friends (in a fake it till you make it way), didn't know Mikey and Draken are coming anyways or if whether would they take him seriously or even acknowledge him. Same with Draken incident in Halloween when he stood up to Kiyomasa when he held a knife and won his way.

And then at Tenjiku, he kept standing until he was bleeding from everywhere, not cuz he's gonna win himself, but cuz he wanted to KEEP THE SPIRIT of those who went to fight with him cuz he knows he can't fight without them. Similar thing happened in the fight between Toman and Valhala when he shouted at everyone to fire them up. Also, when he stood up to Taiju at the church at Christmas, after Chifuyu and Mitsuya and Hakkai were down and even before it, he was ready to face Taiju with Chifuyu without knowing Mitsuya got told beforehand by Chifuyu he's coming.

And many examples of what I said above cuz I don't wanna quote every battle😭. And something else, no one is desperate enough to do all that and time leap (even if they could) to save all those. It was so specifically >!clear when Takemichi went back in time after Bonten future when he held Mikey's hand from falling to the city. That future, everyone was perfect except Mikey even though Mikey told Takemichi to stay away, would any of the main characters go back in time just to save Takemichi? He rejected a perfect future just cuz Mikey wasn't well and there even though before all this time travelling, he didn't even know Mikey, he wanted Hina only, but he left even the future of Hina just to go back and have just a chance to save Mikey. I don't think any other character would exchange all his friends + love of his life for a friend. That adds to why he's the best main character material here.!<

I ain't glazing him here, as I said, I've hated Takemichi from the start and my fav character is Draken anyways, but I think and I've made this post cuz of people who say Takemichi is a bad main character, like a main character should always be the strongest, like Mikey here, but it would be so boring and story would have no complexity if it is just the strongest wins.

Who is pure evil in the show?

To me, it is surely SOUTH TERANO.

Yeah he had a sick mother and shit life when he was a kid and yes he did shoot someone with a gun after Dino took him in, but the shit happened after? That's straight up evil. He killed Dino, not like I care or give a shit about Dino, but he killed the man who literally gave him a source of money and took care of him and his mum, even if dirty, and South crying afterwards doesn't excuse him for it.

Secondly, he didn't accept someone saying no to him, and whoever says no, he beats them up until they either die or submit like he did with Tenjiku at the Juvenile or with Kakucho or what he tried to do with Draken. He has no language but violence (ik this is a gang world, but even other leaders don't beat others to join them).

Lastly, he has no reason he's fighting for. Mikey has a curse, Draken wants Mikey back, Hanma wanna look cool or badass or even for the sake of fun but he doesn't kill, and the list goes on, he fights for the sake of violence and that's it, that's why he's pure evil to me.

Who has had the saddest backstory as a demon?

Please, guys, ik Akaza is the most wholesome and what not, but I want something new, starting with myself.😭

SPOILER ALERT!!!

I emphasised with Kukoshibo, yeah, I did. Ik he felt jealous and envy, and greed blinded him, and he abandoned his family too, but I found myself surprisingly sad for him.

Since birth, Michikatzu (that's kuko name when he was human) was the heir of his family and Yoriichi was dispised and even was planned to be executed cuz of the mark on his head which was considered bad luck, let's not forget Michikatzu didn't have anything bad inside him, no, he loved Yoriichi so much as his little brother and was so protective over him, and DON'T FORGET that Yoriichi was an isolated kid yet Michikatzu went to spend time with him behind their father's back and got him that flute he kept with him until kuko sliced him.

It all changed when Yoriichi defeated one of the best fighters locally known and easily. That's what made him envious and jealous, which is totally understandable to me. He kept, all his remaining life, chasing after Yoriichi level, trying to have sun breathing technique, but ended up with a breathing style of he named of moon and that's why he even turned to a demon, for the very thin hope he might reach Yoriichi's level.

The part that made me emphasise most with him is that he never hated Yoriichi fully, and it showed that when he was even a demon, he did drop tears when be sliced standing dead Yoriichi's body and saw that he kept the flute he gave him all this time. And more to it, Kuko kept the sliced flute with him until he died as a demon in the infinity castle arc.

Who has the best tattoo in the show?

I'll start, it is Hanma (not among my favs by any means, but fair is fair), I love his sin and punishment tattoos on his hands, especially since punishment is on the right hand (which could be linked to righteous) and the left hand that has sin and they're also giving him more persona.

u/sheblanga_manga — 17 days ago

What character has the coolest character design?

I'll start, it is Wakasa. His unique and colorful hair style and unique earrings and his build are all making him creative looking compared to the power he delivers as a fight

u/sheblanga_manga — 18 days ago

What do you think each sin fits most to an upper moon?

!!!!SPOILER ALERT!!!!

Gyutaro: Envy, he always looked to wanna have more like others, he kept envying everybody for how more beautiful or richer others are.

Gyokko: Pride, it is shown clearly in his fight against Muichiro, he did see him inferior cuz he just put him in a bubble easily and then kept underestimating Muichiro until he cut off his head instantly cuz he didn't fight seriously😭.

Hantengu: SLOTH, he's literally the epitome of sloth, he's too lazy that he doesn't even change himself after being accused of many crimes in his backstory and did blame everything but himself, he was too lazy to hold himself accountable and change and all this bs about he's innocent and crying just got on my nerves while watching.

Akaza: pure WRATH, he was blinded by wrath when his sensei and his sensei's daughter died due to locals poisoning the water they drink from, that's what made him kill all who did that and then didn't say no to being a demon when encountered muzan.

Douma: Gluttony, he always ate women cuz they're tastier and more nutritionous in his opinion and he never seemed to have enough that he made himself a god to attract women there to eat them whenever he wanted.

Kukoshibo: literal physical form of ENVY, all his actions in his life cuz he was envious of Yoriichi, he even named his technique (moon) to be the closest to Yoriichi technique naming (sun), he became a demon to be stronger than Yoriichi, but even then, he was gonna be sliced by a dying form of Yoriichi except Yoriichi was merciful enough and still love Kukoshibo.

(Yes sins can overlap, but it is about what SUITS BEST to the upper moon, but Gyutaro and Kuko are both definition of envy, so couldn’t make that sin exclusive to one of them and sorry if the post is so tall😭)
