My sweet 6 year old Puggle is having his hemilaminectomy surgery tomorrow. He’s currently in TJ cause there was no way in hell I would’ve been able to afford this in the states. Ive been a nervous wreck while he’s been there for a week so far(waiting for MRI, results and monitoring). Can someone please tell me what the recovery time looks like. How best i can set up my house for him. Im already having nightmares of him coming home and he’s trying to jump or something. Can someone let me know what to expect. Peace and love ✌🏻 ❤️
Update: Message from the vet, the fact he was able to urinate on his own is a big win for us. “Good morning, we are communicating from the hospital area to inform you about your pet . He woke up in a very good mood, we already gave him his medication in the morning. He continues with great appetite, he ate all his breakfast and also drank water. He urinated and defecated on his own. His surgery is scheduled for tomorrow atternoon.
