bringing home my 8 week old puppy (mutt) one week from today and I just realized I had planned on crate training without really thinking long term.

my 13 year old dog has slept in my bed next to me since the day I brought her home from the shelter at one year old. she is not crate trained and sleeps around the house when we aren't home. I had planned on crate training my puppy from the day we brought him home in case of an event where he needs to stay in a crate so hes not anxious, but will he not be able to sleep in the bed with me and my other dog ever if I do this?

I'm curious if he's used to sleeping in the crate at night if he'll hate sleeping in the bed? I feel like that takes away potential to create a bond like I have with my elderly dog... is it possible to crate train during the day but not at night? or will that send too many mixed signals for a young puppy? If I crate him at night as a puppy, will he hate sleeping elsewhere when he's older?

any advice helps (first time puppy owner if you couldn't tell xD)

for three days now my tablet has been turning to "connected without internet" on every wifi network at random. the only thing that fixes it is turning the tablet off and back on. my other samsung devices are not having this issue on any of the same wifi networks. any ideas on how to fix this? it happens at random. the tablet is only a year old, got it brand new, date and time is set correctly.

I'm having some trouble finding something that fits what I want in a dumb phone no matter how much I search.. I initially wanted the Galaxy Folder 2 but we switched to T-Mobile and I'm unable to switch to another carrier at the moment (that phone does not work with T-Mobile as far as I can tell). The only option I can really find is the CAT S22, which, imo, is sooo ugly and clunky looking. I just want an average looking or cute style flip phone (or anything with actual keys really, doesn't HAVE to be flip). I would love for it to be able to run discord and spotify, but at the end of the day if it can't, thats fine.
