Every time I hear people reflect on “grunge” music, or when other artists talk about their influences or who they think the greatest are…I feel like Layne is either an after thought or completely forgotten. Maybe it’s because Alice in chains didn’t tour as much as they could’ve, Layne’s discography was limited (5 albums is still quite significant), maybe his lyricism wasn’t very relatable to most people. But that doesn’t take away from his raw talent and success. Of course he is revered by some, but not at the level of Chris Cornell or Eddie Vedder. What are your thoughts?

I live in a 2 story walk up on the top floor. There has been growing water damage showing on the ceiling, initially spotted in Jan 2025 and now is so bad, that the ceiling could crack open any day now. The landlord has been notified about it since the beginning and has failed to do anything about it, and now we're genuinely scared that all our stuff will get flooded or it may collapse on us. What do we do? How can he be so negligent? Does anyone have a good relator who can help me find a new apartment quickly?
