A laser guided anti-air or anti-tank missile capable of engaging both types of targets. Much faster than other AGRs due to its large engine.
It is mounted on ground platforms and aircraft.
Pros: Dual-mode. Automatically selects either impact tandem or proximity fuse for different targets. Fast. 3000 kmh / 833m/s / 1864 mph fast. It also accelerates very quickly. Heavy filler. 15 kilograms of explosives allow it to shred many targets. Maneuverable. It is capable of keeping up with air targets and doing sharp turns in general. Laser guided. Immune to countermeasures.
Cons: Cost. Much more expensive than the other missiles. Short burn time. Limited effectiveness against fast aircraft. Laser guided. You must stay exposed while firing. Limited AA range. The missile struggles to track far away targets.
Doors open, RCS increased, air resistance increased, and you can shoot now.
Doors closed, whole 0.1 RCS reduction, air resistance minimized, fuel efficiency increased, but your weapon is retracted. It's also not as cold. Pretty fair trade, right?
Given that the conflict is unlikely to start without any strategic spying, there should be low earth orbit satellites.
Their job is simple, to spy.
At the start of the round they provide intel about every enemy factory, airfield, bunker, carrier strike group, SAM position and a one time identification of first spawns at open locations.
Unfortunately due to limits of orbit they are unable to identify which type of the factory it is, or whether it's a munitions bunker or a hangar. Additionally, since they are in orbit they have a very long refresh time.
90 minutes, to be exact. The first refresh countdown is randomized, maybe 30 or full 90 minutes. Either way it's long enough for the carrier to move a lot from its spot.
There should also be an option to kill them. An ifrit gets access to a special missile that is capable of intercepting the spy satellite. It can mount only one. The conditions to successfully intercept the target are as follows: 18km launch altitude; 70° upward angle and facing towards the target; 10 to 5 minutes before the next flyover; mach 1+.
It'd probably be as op as the next suggestion I will make. Maybe less.
RAPIER kinetic energy weapon is essentially a 130mm (or 25mm x9) APFSDS with a rocket motor. The rocket aims itself to a predetermined trajectory, and does kinetic damage against the target.
The missile has 2 stages. 1: it accelerates and aims using the INS. 2: it releases the APFSDS.
The APFSDS is immune to laser defences and it's RCS is so small it's nigh impossible to see it. Even if you do see it it's gonna move at mach 5 so you are not intercepting the dart.
It's effective range is out to about 15km at which point the dumb projectile might miss. Due to being a kinetic weapon it's damage against light armor is rather poor, which is why a B variant has 9 whole 25mm darts to pepper the target.
"Fuck you laser truck" is laser engraved on the rear of the projectile(s).

—-- I'm at a bit of an empasse without any motivation. Trying to reignite it again so this might be bad compared to the other perks rambling I did.
I'm sorry for making it look this bad but I need to get this out of my head.
Essentially a premium version of a chicane, improving on survivability and armaments of the lil guy.
Armaments: extra external pylons and an option to install DIRCM(IR jammers) together with ECM. The cannon was replaced with a more rabid one with extra firerate. You also get bigger pylons to carry even more missiles. Word of the day: saturation.
Mobility: More lift from 2 rotors, along with lift from the wings. At peak speed, it can rely much less on the rotors and instead cruise like a plane with high efficiency. More powerful engines, too, with an option to double their power in emergencies. If you use that your engines go bye bye after they're shut off, and your aircraft is written off.
Other: Extra flares, armor, fuel, and all the good stuff are included. Improved radar, optical scanners and decent stealth capability keep your survival rate above average.
