Hello fellow players, I need your help
Im creating a gateway to find community discord servers for Albion Online that ranges from various types of content.
Im also looking for community servers for different type of content on the three servers. I have a pack list of many types for NA, but if I can get some more, then that would be helpful.
The hardest board to knock is faction warefare. Getting active servers on the NA is quite frustrating and for the other two servers, it's not easier. I'm asking for any type of help to get in touch with these servers or just provide their discord server links so I can add them to my list. You help is truly appreciated!
The Loot Pool is not up to par. Probably. Discussion. Theory?
This may be a stretch, but I've had this theory for one or two more years. I can not exactly remember what had happened that let me first come up with this, but here is what I think. Do not kill me. This is a discussion, and I believe more discussion like should be on the subreddit.
People were saying that after Asia first came online, a couple weeks/months people were saying they felt that the loot drop became more subpar. It wasn't bad, but it felt like there was a drop in loot quality. We know that Asian players usually grind more when it comes to online games, so when it comes to black market crafting, they would probably have the upper hand in that.
I like to think that SBI realized the drop in BM quality loot and had the perfect cover for this. The Wild Blood Upate (OCT 2023). This update reworked islands and the farming economy. Now, SBI did not want to ruin the economy of the players that have their islands set up, so they allowed (temporarily) for islands to be moved to a different city. Under the guise of this, they mathed out that players would abuse this system to craft and sell to the black market after moving their island to carleon. This part was widely known to be happening, I think it was discussed here sometime on the server.
Fast forward to September 2023, Abysmal Depths Patch 5, they nerf ava dungeons look by 10%. I think that this was a straightforward decision to help support the loot pool for Abyssal Depth. This major update introduced Orange zones, which were revolutionary for solo players (at the time) and people who were frightened of full loot pvp zones.
It's now June 29 (Radiant Wilds Patch 3). SBI decides to make some changes to the mists and held an event that boosted fame and REWARDS by 25% for one week. This is the same update where they decided to nerf ava raid loot by 50%. Just to clarify, SBI stated that ava raids were outputting more silver than they intended. The thing is, they didn't specify if this was raw silver of silver in terms of the loot you get from chest, but im gonna take a good guess, it's the loot from the chest. The raw silver you gain doesn't feel like a nerf was given to it. I like to believe they wanted to bring back more people into the mist but didn't have enough loot to go around, so the ava raid loot nerf was a good excuse for them to do so. I also think that the loot that would've gone to the ava raid loot pool will be pushed to the Dragon's loot pool. I theorized that SBI will retract the ava raid nerf by a good percent a couple of months after the Dragon's update.
Additionally, in this same update, they nerfed fame for solo player in the Depths. While this was not a loot nerf to solo players queueing in the depths, I lile to think that they did this to discourage more solo players in the depths, so the duos and trios could be rewarded more. I like to push this even further to with the Radiant Wilds Patch 4. Players in a party would get evenly distributed loot while also taking who has premium getting rewarded 50% more than who doesn't. I'm GOING to stretch this even further, saying that they did this specifically for the Dragon's update later this month. So we know how some players might pull a high tier item significantly outscaling what everyone else got, I like to think they did this, so those said high value items are pushed to the loot pool for the upcoming update. We all have seen how hard the bosses are to fight, although they are still subjected to changes. If it doesn't change in terms of difficulty, then i believe that the high value items pushed to the Dragon's loot pool will make sense for the challenge players will have to put up.
So I believe or what I like to think is that since the server split, especially between Asia, they black market has not been at its best. SBI continues to add more to the game, and the loot pool gets stretched as this happens. I am aware that the black market trashes items, but im pretty sure that only applies to lower tier items. SBI was also recently implemented on items (that can be listed on the black market), regular market prices, and black market prices. Obviously, for most items, the black market will be higher in estimated value. I think they did this to incentivize more players to craft for the black market.
Just to say, I also believe why the boss is so hard and tedious is because SBI wants a full party to fight the dragon, not no 10man like what they allowed with ava raids.
I believe we should have discussions like this as it brings more variety to the subreddit. I might have missed some key details or other things, reason being I haven't slept in 24hours because I decided to do high tier ava raid dungeons till maintenance and I don't know if I will be working in the next 45mins.
AVA raid done on mobile. Last boss clear after heal neg
Just wanted to show how ava raids are done on mobile, by a experienced ava dungoneer. If it clicked, I would've record for the other bosses as well. I dont remember the map tier. It was either 8.0, 8.1 or 8.2.
5.3 Masterpiece Hunter Shoes apparently crafted by the game itself
I cant remember where exactly i got this, ive had it for a couple of years, I think 2023 or 2024. Is there any other item like this in the game? How rare is it and I am NOT looking to sell it.
Albion Memes 266
Just to let you guys know, I am not anti AI. I do believe it has a place in society when utilized right and is not wielded blindly by late stage capitalism. The problem stems when the AI does most of the work and all the user does is copy and paste the output given.
What can you identify from most of the thumbnails in the image is that they ALL look the same. None of them has their own distinction look, they ALL look the same. There is so much more thumbnails i could've used but I could only fit so much in one image. Thumbnails are so much easier to make than ever due to free services like Canva. There is no need for a tool like photoshop to create thumbnails anymore. I know that me making this into a meme and going on a small rant about will have a minimal effect on these youtubers, but I just wanted to highlight this fact and will further have this discussion if needs be.
