Mitte 40, Familie mit Kindern, Vollzeit in der Schweiz bei einem bekannten Unternehmen mit einem sicheren Job als kommerzieller Leader (mittleres Management, Führungsposition). Mein Chef ist Head of, dessen Chef ist VP Commercial.

Ich bin Experte auf meinem Gebiet und hatte das Glück, schon 2003 im E-Commerce-Umfeld zu arbeiten – bin also seit fast 25 Jahren im E-Commerce unterwegs. Ich habe für bekannte europäische Unternehmen im Marktplatz-, Händler- und Markenumfeld gearbeitet und bringe einen Blickwinkel mit, den ich im Vergleich zu anderen in ähnlichen Rollen selten sehe.

Was Glaubwürdigkeit angeht, glaube ich, dass ich ein sehr guter Kandidat bin, um anderen Playern im Feld das Gefühl zu geben, dass ich geschäftlich alles im Griff habe.

Meine Idee ist, mein Pensum um 20-25% zu reduzieren, um meine Geschäftsidee von der Idee zum Businessplan zu entwickeln und deutlich mehr über KI, KI-Automatisierung, AI-Search-Agents etc. zu lernen. Ich beschäftige mich seit 2022 mit KI, weiß aber noch nicht genug, um mein Ein-Mann-Unternehmen zu automatisieren.

Die Idee ist im Kern, das, was ich gerade für ein Unternehmen mache, für deutlich mehr Unternehmen zu machen – als "KI-beschleunigter One-Man-Agency-Dienstleister". Ich kenne all ihre Probleme, bin in diesem Umfeld gut vernetzt und spüre, dass sich gerade eine Verschiebung vollzieht, die mehr Möglichkeiten in meinem Feld eröffnet. Ich glaube, dass ich bald fast allein das leisten kann, wofür man früher 10 Leute gebraucht hat. Ich will außerdem individuelle, maßgeschneiderte Softwarelösungen für meine zukünftigen Kunden bauen, ohne eine Zeile Code zu können :D

Ich hatte noch nie ein eigenes Unternehmen und weiß nicht viel über Unternehmensführung, aber ich denke, ich kann schnell lernen, die Informationen sind frei verfügbar, und ich bin nicht der Erste, der das im Laufe des Wegs herausfindet.

Meine Frau arbeitet, und ich könnte 12-24 Monate von meinen Ersparnissen leben, theoretisch sogar bis zu 7 Jahre – aber natürlich will ich nur einen Teil davon in dieses Vorhaben investieren.

Meine eigentliche Frage: Findet Ihr, dass ist eine komfortable Ausgangslage, um ein Unternehmen zu starten?

Im 40+M, Family with kids, working full time in Switzerland in a well known company with a stable job as a commercial leader (mid management - lead position), my boss is a head of, his boss is the VP commercial.

I´m an expert in my field I was lucky enough to work in an ecommerce environment already around 2003 and Im working in ecommerce since almost 25 years, I worked for well known European companies in the marketplace, retailer and brand environment and bring a unique view I see rarely comparing to others that do similar roles.

Credibility wise I believe Im a very good candidate to give other players in the field the feeling that I know everything business wise.

My Idea is to reduce my hours by 20-25% to develop my business idea from an Idea to a business plan and learn a lot more about AI, AI automation, AT Search Agents etc. Im Into AI since 2022 but I dont know enough yet to automize my one-man company.

The Idea is basically to do what im doing for one company now for a lot more companies as an "AI accelerated one man agency style service provider"...I know all of their problems, Im connected well in this environment and I feel a shift is happening that opens more opportunities for the field Im working in. My believe is that soon I can do almost alone what you needed 10 people for before. I also want to build unique customized software solutions for my future clients without knowing a line of code :D.

I never had a company, I know not much about operating a business but I think I can learn fast and the information is free available and Im not the first one who will figure out along the way.

My wife is working and Im ok living of my savings for 12-24 months, I could live up to 7 years from my savings but of course I want to invest only a part of them in this endeavour.

My question really is, do you think its a comfortable situation to start a business?

Any opinions about Zalando? It sits at 21.75€ currently and a 5 billion valuation.

Im working in that field of business and Zalando is the major player in Europe for every Fashion, Lifestyle and Sports Brand. They invest a lot into AI and Logistics, it is my believe that:

-they will ramp up the margin radically with AI and robotics
-many brands wont see another way than using their logistic services

-will have more and more access to the consumer as less and less consumers buy offline or ecom

-many offline retailers (especially in Germany, Switzerland etc.) will continue to bankrupt as things move towards online

-AI agents will decide the most convenient way to buy products and thats either Amazon or Zalando for that segment.

I think this is a 500-700% candidate until 2030, would love to hear other opinions.

PS: Temu and Shein are no competition as Brands strongly mistrust them and they plan in the low price field, Zalando is more Lifestyle, well known brands and more and more premium.
