Anybody have one of these?

It's a rare and expensive novelty pedal from the anime K-On (which I love) but wow this thing sure gives you a great tone. There's ones for Yui and Mio too, which I don't own.

I recorded an album of original music with it last summer/fall (emalynski - WEREWOLF ERA, pictured here) and I think the guitar tones it gives are absolutely sick.

Does anyone else have experience with this pedal or the Yui or Mio ones? I don't know a ton about pedals but this has become my go-to for overdrive. For a novelty pedal it sounds amazing

I recorded a studio album using primarily the Azusa overdrive pedal

Can I just say this thing gives a wicked tone. Holy moly. I originally was planning to record with a Boss DS-1 but once I got this I knew this had to be the one. Listen and hear for yourself!

The guitar I used was a Gibson Les Paul (like Yui!). Though recently I acquired Azusa's Mustang (the Japanese exclusive model with the red headstock!!)

These pedals are extremely rare and expensive so I can't really recommend splurging on one but as a crazy K-On fan I am very happy I own it. I couldn't be happier with how it sounds.

Does anyone know if others have recorded original music with either this or the Yui pedal? I'm sure I'm not the first. It may be a novelty pedal but I honestly like the tone more than the DS-1 (it's much thicker)

Looking through my May 1994 issue of Guitar World today

Kurt is listed as the 49th most important person in guitar. There's something eerie about how this is probably one of the last times Kurt was referred to in the present tense, and that he was already gone by the time it was printed.

It bums me out a lot, but I figure you guys would find it an interesting relic.

This took like 2 days of work but it's my favorite album so it had to be done. I think it looks really cute! I'm very happy with it. I drew it with my finger on the Nintendo Switch touch screen.

This is one of my favorite Beach Boys songs so I wanted to make a cover that really respects the original. It's all live instruments that I played and recorded myself (acoustic and electric guitar, bass, piano, and hand percussion). I also arranged all the harmonies by ear. I know they're not perfect, but I sure tried hard!

Out of love for The Beach Boys and Brian Wilson, I wrote it using 5-part harmony and recorded it all in mono.

I really hope you like it! I had a lot of fun putting it together. It's such a beautiful song.

I've been having fun lately drawing my favorite albums in this game and today I drew Aja! I just used my finger on the Nintendo Switch touch screen and tried to make it as accurate as possible. I think it came out pretty good. Hope you like it!

I think it came out pretty good! It ended up being a lot more difficult than I planned... The weird angle and fish eye lens are really deceptive. Hope you like it!
