Concrete basement problems

Concrete basement problems

Hey! So I've recently decided to convert a room in my basement to a home office. I didn't realize the walls are in such rough shape until I bought my paint and took it downstairs. I need some suggestions on how I can either fix the issues and make it a better surface to paint, or if I can maybe cover it with shiplap or something? Any help at all would be great, Google just keeps confusing me.

From where I'm standing it looks like very poorly done stucco but I really don't know. I'm not looking for anyone to give me specific product names, just suggestions on what I can do to work on the issue.

\*The plywood window is a whole different conversation.

Lost cause?

Alrighty! So unbeknownst to me, a while ago I bought one of the more difficult staghorns to keep alive ( ridleyi) it looked a lot better when I bought it, but I started having issues with it shortly after buying and I posted on a staghorn Facebook group where I got conflicting advice and apparently chose the wrong one to listen to. She looks pretty pathetic now, but I've always heard the saying if there is green there is something to save. Should I give up on this one or do we have a chance?

Scared to ask but afraid I'm providing improper care.

Okay, so, I'm really hesitant to ask because I already feel guilty and sad enough and I really want to learn what to do but I'm used to how rude Facebook forums are to people so I figured I'd try Reddit instead.

In February I got 3 froglets from my local reptile store. All seemed healthy, once they acclimated I saw them all eating. They seemed to be happy and doing fine. One of them looked a little scrawny but seemed generally okay. I chose a smaller than recommended enclosure on purpose because they were so tiny I wanted to be able to keep a close eye on them, and planned to size up when they got a little bigger. I patterned the enclosure after the display at the reptile shop and the owners helped me get a water feature and other supplies (went with a paludarium set-up to make sure I kept things humid enough.)

All was going really well until mid/late July when I got back from vacation. My sister typically comes and feeds our animals for us when we're gone, and I was on an every other day feeding schedule using mostly fruit flies but sometimes small crickets when I could get my hands on small ones. A couple days after coming home I noticed one of my frogs was l missing. The first night I wasn't too concerned because they had each developed a few hiding spots they preferred. So I thought maybe I just couldn't see it and it was on a lower leaf of the pothos or something. Then I unfortunately spotted it, the first one I'm pretty sure got trapped under the water and drowned. (The little hide I used to make a land section got shifted away from the wall.)

I thought that would be the end of it but a couple of weeks ago my husband went to feel the two left and one of them had died. It didn't look weird or anything. Its color wasn't pale other than the eyes. It had just died. I'm kind of worried that maybe I didn't put enough bugs in or something? Or maybe some type of contamination happened? There was a period fo time where the mister ran out of water for a few days but there was enough in the water feature to keep the humidity up. But I really don't know. So now I'm just depressed and feel like a murderer because I've wanted these frogs for so long and was definitely emotionally attached.

They have a UVB bulb, a misting system that's on a timer and runs with only spring water. I use a micro CHE that runs through a thermostat. I feed them at night on an every other night schedule and dust with calcium that has D3 (Although not every time) Can anyone offer some advice here? I really don't want to lose my last frog, and I'd like to get back to having a trio but I don't want to get anymore until I know what I'm doing wrong.

Edit to add that I did research before getting my frogs, and thought I followed it correctly. I didn't want it to sound like they were an impulse buy

Vintage Monet?

Hi! I just bought these earrings, I think they're vintage monet but I can't find them anywhere online. Admittedly I don't know where to look. I'm just to determine if they're actually vintage, and what they're made of, so any thoughts or suggestions on research resources would be so helpful!
