Can someone help me understand the criticism of Halo Campaign Evolved’s Forerunner architecture?

It looks like Halo Infinite’s forerunner architecture that was praised for going back to Halo 1’s style. Now that they put Infinite’s style in Halo 1 it’s suddenly not okay? Make it make sense

Do you feel that people denying your heritage is racism?

I’m mixed white and arab, my whole life I’ve felt like a mixed person, but because of my white skin and white name I’ve been afraid to identify as such. Now that I’m older and feeling myself more, I’m starting to feel more confident and proud of my mixed heritage, but I’ve noticed a lot of people don’t like me claiming that. They feel that I’m a white person claiming other races for social brownie points, but from my perspective, I’m just trying to be seen and understood as an individual with more than one background.

I’ve been doing more research on this topic to build my confidence in my identity and I’ve seen the term “racial erasure” pop up as a form of racism. Is this what I’m experiencing? Should I start calling people out who do this to me to educate them? I don’t think most people who do this are being malicious, just ignorant, but it still makes me feel really sad and uncomfortable when people force me to be seen only as a white person. I feel like I have racial imposter syndrome.

I’m proud of both sides of my family and I have no problem with identifying as white, but I’m also arab too, (as Peter Parker puts it in the new Spider-man, “I’m both”) is it okay for me to identify as mixed race?
