Should I replace the strap?

Just got a used GX, filled it up, and started rowing for the first time.

But the strap jumps off the last pulley with basically every single stroke.

The video shows the process in slow motion.

Looking at the video and inspecting the strap, I think the problem is that the strap is slightly warped such that one side of it is more stretched than the other, which causes it to constantly walk its way off the side of the pulley.

But I thought I’d ask here before I go and buy a new one.

So what do y’all think? Do I just need to replace the strap, or is it something else?

Switch Alipay and WeChat back to International?

I did the right thing and set up my Ali pay and WeChat with my USA phone number before I arrived, and my first two days in Chengdu were seamless. I was able to pay for taxis and public transport no problem, order Luckin coffee, etc etc. Everything was super easy.

But then I decided to get a local phone number to help with verifications (also because I am converting my motorcycle license to a local one and they said I need to get one), and once I got the local phone number I added it to my accounts.

And that broke everything. Now I can’t pay.

The problem is that adding the local number switched my account to a Chinese WeChat/alipay and those accounts can’t accept international credit cards or bank accounts as funding sources.

So then I changed the number back to my original phone number, which was no problem, but the account is still stuck as a mainland China account and I still can’t connect it to funds.

So yea, any help appreciated! Need to figure this out asap.

EDIT TO ADD

Ok, so I just paid all the testchinapay.com QR codes and they work fine.

But then I still can’t transfer money for my part of the dinner bill.

And then I read someplace that I can’t use international cards to do person to person transfers apparently?

That’s fine, but how do I split the bill with people if we go for hot pot?

I have a printer in a non-heated garage in the Northeast of the US. I went so far as to add insulation to my k1 max to keep the heat in, but this time of year the best chamber temps I can manage are somewhere around 35-40 degrees Celsius with just the heated bed and no active heater.

I don’t have any issues with small prints, but the second I try to print something with a larger base the edges start to peel off, and also if I do any large walls that are around 2mm thick they warp like crazy. Not subtle, like a complete buckling.

Is this just an inherent limitation to trying to print ABS at 35-40 degrees, and will it improve if I get things up to 50-60? Everything else about my printer is pretty dialed in, but I can’t control the weather and unfortunately I don’t have anywhere else to stick the printer.

I guess I can add a heating element of some sort, but that’s an ordeal that I just haven’t gotten around to yet.
