Protective Momo (Comm by Pie)
This was a prototype for a story that I didn’t end up writing but it came out amazing and I love it.

Joined a new PBP campaign and immediately swung into action to do art of my character. She’s 75% Aenar with an Orion thaven, and she’s currently stationed aboard the USS Serenity as a nurse. I didn’t go into it meaning to design a goth girlfriend, but I kinda like how this came out?

Just got back from ConnectiCon 2026. We ran a booth for the first time and these two were my booth girls. Had a lot of fun, sold a bunch of keychains, and we met two other BakuDeku pairs (and a girl who added our keychains to her ShinKami shrine). Hidemi’s wig needs a little organizing and Masama’s wig needs a little fluffing, but it wasn’t a bad debut for our power couple.
Every time I do a large polycule story, I use it as an excuse to introduce at least one new character. Why? Because if you're reading the story for its premise, you probably don't care how I get that many girls, just that there are girls. Last time, it was Trash Cat. This time, I'm designing Seisada. I drew some influence from Burnin, Kamala Khan's MCU version, Armor from the X-Men, and obviously Caulifla (because Elizabeth Maxwell and I like to trade pictures of our cats). She actually does have a voice as noted on the image, which I'll be posting once we get more content of her, because I love hiring voices for my OCs.
Seriously, if you'd buy art, consider buying a voice. There's SO many fresh voice actors out there who would be willing to work with you.

I just wanted to share some takeaways from the voice actors that I’ve crossed paths with in the past eight weeks for if you run into them at cons:
Justin Briner (Izuku): Do not embarrass him in public. Do not. As long as you’re civil, composed, and reasonably discreet? He’s down to sign your ship work. Got an Izuneta and an IzuMina signed. Discussed BakuDeku. Just be on your best behavior and you’ll be fine.
Erica Mendez (Melissa): Doesn’t even carry a print of Melissa to sign. Seemed a little bored. I may do another print or two of Melissa, but I definitely won’t seek her out intentionally again.
Leah Clark (Himiko): She definitely has her preferred ships and is not shy about it (she stocks Togachako to sign). I stumped her with a crossover OT3 print, but she was nice enough about it.
Justin Cook (Kirishima): Literally just Kirishima. The most cheerful bro you’ll ever meet. He is absolutely down for whatever, het or slash. I bring him female Kirishima when I see him.
Emily Neves (Eri): I actually have had some success with Eri/Satsuki Asui stuff with her. You can probably do Eri/Kouta too. We discussed ideas for a new piece after the upcoming special releases. Don’t be weird, guys, please. I adore Emily.
Alexis Tipton (Mei): This woman is a queen. She’s signed lesbian Mei, racebent Mei, and did a four color signature on a trans Mei print for me. She’s signed Momei for me, so you can absolutely bring her femme shipping. We discussed poly for my next print for her. She was down.
Kyle Phillips (Kaminari): Cheerful as hell. He signs M/M, M/F, and I brought a poly lesbian print that he added his signature to. Discussed femboy Denki and he was down. He stopped me again to have me interpret the print I stumped Leah with. They’re good friends. KamiHimi, anyone?
Chris Wehkamp (Aizawa): So. Someone brought him NSFW Aizawa and Inko art. Don’t be that guy and he’s cool. Showed him a femme Aizawa and Midnight print I’m working on with Morri, he loved it. Showed him cats, he loved that too. I know he’s signed EraserMic for my booth girl, so you should be good with anything if you’re polite.
I’ve also met (in no particular order) Bakugou, Todoroki, Momo, Ochako, Tsuyu, Mina, Tooru, Kyouka, Setsuna, Itsuka, Ibara, Monoma, Iida, Shouji, Nejire, Mount Lady, and Lady Nagant, and have talked to Yuuyu and Reiko online. If you’re curious about any of them, drop a comment.
So we posted this a little while back, but now we have audio. The art is still by StMorrigan, while Bakugou is voiced by pro VA Gillian Lange. We’ve collabed with her a bit and she’s a joy to work with; cannot recommend her enough. She seems hyped to do more, including this month’s VineBoom. The counter voice for Midoriya is our lovely booth girl Nyghtshade; she recorded six takes of this and I fully intend to use all six with different partners.
Not sure what we’re gonna do for trans girl Bakugou other than maybe ask Clifford and pray?
I commissioned wigs for Machan and Hidemi, and they’re here! Hoping to take Machan out for a con on Sunday; we’ll see.
So, I originally started playing ridged Trill because I had a GM who was unnervingly obsessed with AI and swapping out to ridges made it impossible for him to generate images of my character. Now I'm just having fun with the aesthetic. Momo is my current primary character in John's campaign, and I'm meeting Nicole de Boer this summer so we threw this together.
Between this and the Pinky/Seven piece we did, we're getting pretty comfortable drawing canon characters. Might start offering to do "get your STA character with your favorite character" soon.
So, this was one of my first adventures in Star Trek Adventures in PBP form, which meant I didn’t have to try and emulate Himiko Toga’s very distinct voice. She’s a Romulan and in a “family cell” as per that one Picard writer interview. Her partners are Pinky (who you’ve seen before) and a Romulan scientist named Tooru who defected to the Federation and brought T’Miko with her. Her special skills include stabbing threats to Narendra Station. I toyed with making her a Changeling to stay truer to the character lore, but I felt like that might be a little Mary Sue for a comparatively simple campaign and Pinky the xB was already pushing it. And yes, she blushes green. No, she doesn’t always take her meds.
