Do people treat you differently once they learn that you are divorced?

I wonder if there is still stigma attached to divorce, that affects divorced people in daily life. I'd like to compare others' stories to my own. I don't have any divorced friends, so nobody to ask outside Reddit. If you feel that you were being treated differently because you're divorced (say at work), what was the situation like?

If you were pressured by your family to study something you had no interest in, what is your life like now?

I noticed a pattern. Some parents pressure their sons to pursue a well-paid career no matter what. They push and push, and the sons often struggle.

If that was you, what happened? What was it they wanted you to do? What did you want to do? What did you end up doing with your life?

Those of you who went through a divorce, how would you prefer to spend your weekends (assuming you don't need to work during the weekend)? I imagine that divorced people, likely being parents, may have different preferences to single people.
