Little by little I’m getting closer and closer, I’m trying to build a new person, i want to be unrecognizable thats really the goal I’ve set my mind to. Another goal i have is I really want to end this year under 200lbs that’s something that’s slowly turning into reality.
I’ve lost 83lbs in just a little under 9 months since I started this journey Dec 5th 2025, I still have a lot to go. Im only 5’8 so I probably have another 70 lbs to lose. My goal weight is around 140-150lbs range.

Every month im getting closer and closer to my goal, i thought I would be happier about all the weight im losing but i really don’t feel anything at all not happy or sad. My end goal is to weigh 140-150lbs, I still have a long way to go. Another goal of mine is to finish this year under 200lbs.
The hardest part of weight loss for me personally was starting. Starting is the hardest but once you’ve stacked months and days, that’s all the motivation I need now, the motivation I need to keep going is all the days and months I’ve already put in. I will never do that to myself again I will never gain this weight back again.
Still have a lot to go but here’s the 70 lb difference in 7 months. As a 21 year old 5’8 man
Starting weight 310lbs December 5th 2025

70 lbs down in a little over 6 months as a 5’8 21 year old man from eating 1600 calories daily, a gallon of water daily.
This weight is dropping fast but I still feel like it’s nothing, don’t really know how to feel. I can see the difference in my face. Still have another 70-90 pounds to go. Im averaging a 10 lbs loss every month. Today I’ll celebrate with some liquor and food tomorrow its back to the basics.
The main reason im losing weight is for my mental health. Maybe I’ll love myself more one day after this. I want this bad im almost half way there. Only time will tell.

My dream would be to end this year under 200lbs I think it would be a big milestone for me, I haven’t been under 200lbs in about 6 years, my end goal weight is 140-150.
So far weight loss has been really easy for me thanks to counting calories, at this rate im losing 10 lbs a month, I know it will slow down as I lose more. I still have cheat days once a month I’ll get a pizza and drink some liquor but 30 days out of the month im locked in.
Im down 60lbs since starting my diet 6 months ago. Starting weight was 310 im currently 250lbs, my goal weight is 140lbs but I never actually really thought about or know what weight would be a lean weight for a 5’8 person I just assumed around 140lbs.
Starting weight 310lbs, current weight 250lbs. Im a 21 year old man 5’8. My routine and diet is 1700 calories daily, 10k + steps every other day, 1.1 gallons of water daily.
It’s been 5 months since starting my strict dieting in early December and I remember when I was 300 pounds I used to dream about even hitting 250 that just felt like it would be a big milestone. But now it’s here and it doesn’t feel like anything.
My goal weight is 140-145 I still have a lots of weight to drop. What really has helped me lose this weight and stay on track is counting my calories. In the past when I would try to lose weight I would just starve myself and eat to little bit which would cause me to burn out. Counting calories gave me a form of structure so I wouldn’t have to guess and so I can know exactly what im doing.
I’ve only lost almost 60 in 5 months from 310lbs to 253lbs but I wanna hear how fast/ long it took everyone else who has lost a lot
