Is anyone else just terrible at hearing the doorbell when focused on work?

Okay, this is probably just me being bad at adulting, but I swear since I started working from home full-time, I've missed more deliveries and visitors than in my entire life before before using Deafping.com, now I just get text alerts when someones at the door, it was made for deaf and neurodivergent people

I get into such a deep work zone with my headphones on, the doorbell could be blasting directly into my ear and I probably wouldn't register it. It's honestly a bit embarrassing when a neighbour has to tell you there was a postie at your door for the third time this month.

What are everyone's hacks for actually knowing when someone's at the door without constantly checking or having to pause your flow?

Made my first $5 (£3.86) sale with my vibe coded SAAS

So I set up Stripe on my vibe coded SAAS, then I used the tool I made to find my customers on Reddit, used Grok to come up with comments to paste on those subreddits and drove my first $5 customer who paid for a full page unlock for his URL scan to get subreddits and facebook groups to market on.

Happy that it proved market demand for my product, Only 2 regrets is paying $25 for a ,io domain, should have stuck to a .com but it doesn't matter now. Other regret is the name (Slopsend). Makes it sound like I'm calling my customers websites "slops" but in reality I named it that because vibe code is seen as "slop" to the general software audience.

You can brutally give feedback for my site here: slopsend.io
