Working through my latest re-listen and I think I've found the longest stunned silence of Ricky and Steve to something Karl has said.
At the end of ep 31-5-2003, Karl reveals the last Rockbusters answer is "New Odour" and Steve says Karl has just lost them one more listener. The is approx 6-7 seconds of dead air before Ricky speaks again.
Can anyone think of a longer instance?

For years ive been thinking about how cool it would be to have my Hunter dual wield Hand Cannons. In fact I would have liked to rock Hand Cannons in every slot. Every update i hope to see that they've made it happen. But alas no luck.
With only one more update to go its looking grim.

The above behaviour is happening every minute. I've tried to test for triggers thinking it was app related but ive seen it occur when no action was taken. There were no changes made to the setup for several months to cause this behaviour.
Tried installing new OS -moved to win11 from win10. There seemed to be some improvement but after a day of operation problem recurs.
New OS is on a spare HDD so this leads me to believe it isn't a software but a hardware problem.
I have taken out and swapped around RAM. No improvement. Also windows memory check says there is no issue there.
I have removed the graphics card and gave it a good clean as well as the rest of the components while in that mode. No improvement.
All fans and coolers seem to be in working order.
I took a video of the glitch occurring but cant upload it.
This PC is 16 years old but was high spec at the time of build and has been maintained well. The only replacement part has been the video card about about 12 years ago just after the gtx970 came out.
Any ideas of what to try next would be welcome.
