Does anyone have recommendations for a gynecologist in the RRH system who uses numbing agents for IUD removal/other painful procedures? I live in the Rochester area; would prefer female, but I'm willing to be flexible.

One of the strings from my Liletta hormonal IUD just came out. I'm not sure how it got detached. How bad is this? Is it going to make removal more painful? How many strings are there to begin with?
