Installed Vegatrem to my Tribute ASAT

Installed Vegatrem to my Tribute ASAT

Been eyeing a trem for the ASAT for some time and thought about a Bigsby. When this system was announced I decided to wait and see on feedback and reviews. The system is solid and after doing research and taking measurements I pulled the trigger and it came in earlier today.

This is the model where you don’t have to drill and it’s the classic variant which is 71mm from pickup to hole spacing and that was what the guitar measurements said but there was some modifications and care needed to install properly. The plate that replaces the ash tray is a bit wider so it overlapped with the bottom of the cut out on the pick guard. I carefully used a dremel tool at low-medium speed and shaved down the material on both sides. I could have done one side just a touch more but I did get it to clear. Next the new screws that mount the plate to the body are thicker than the original screws that held the ash tray bridge. I carefully installed the new screws slowly to help drill into the wood and enlarge the holes gradually and once it got about 70% it stopped and took a electric driver on the lowest setting with enough torque to finish.

So no new holes in body and small sanding/dremel to the pick guard. Installed the system and put new strings and did a quick set up. Still need to adjust the tension of the system and get the set up dialed in but it works and it is solid.

I’ve made upgrades over time and this was probably the last planned upgrade. It’s a shame what happened with the company and considering what the big F is doing even more so. This is one that I’m not getting rid of

ES-339 or LP Special Double Cut

Two very different guitars. No wrong answers. Which would you choose and why? I like both and can use either but there are pros and cons to each so it makes it hard to choose.

Anyone mod the SE NF53 with a 5 way blade switch?

The guitar has a unique place in my collection and I’m happy with the tones and pickups. Since they don’t make SE Myles Kennedy, I’m wondering if anyone has modded the SE NF53 with a 5 way switch to get the same or similar electronics configuration with splitting the pickups in positions 2 and 4. I figure this is possible but wondering which switches work best

SE NF53 customizing 3rd party locking tuner

In case anyone else was in the same mindset and predicament as i was. The SE NF53 is a fine instrument in my collection and great T style guitar(i also have a G&L ASAT Tribute for a good T style guitar) and I’ve made a point to upgrade to locking tuners on all my guitars for sake of convenience. I like the wing tuner buttons aesthetic on this guitar and was hoping to keep it when upgrading but there was no official direct drop in upgrade from PRS for vintage style locking tuners with wing buttons. Mannmade parts have vintage style locking tuners but no wing buttons. Only recently did PRS start offering the wing button options on SE Locking tuners but those would not work on the NF53. I did Kluson Revolution locking tuners in all black chrome finish on my SE 594 Singlecut a while ago and thought that would be a good option to keep in mind. I noticed that the vintage tuner buttons on the Kluson were kept by a set screw so I wondered if the PRS wing buttons that are sold separately would be able to be retrofit to the Kluson. Can confirm that yes they do fit and it took some time but it worked very well.

Photo is for reference in comparing the two tuners anwhat aesthetic differences look like. If anyone else is thinking of doing this, I’d recommend carefully swapping out the keystone buttons and replacing with wing buttons. It was a bit of process to ensure they get seated properly.

Stadium users. How's your experience after several months?

Specifically, any user who's upgraded from OG Helix or LT and moved to either Stadium units (Floor or XL). I know there have been a few bugs at launch but it seems a lot of them have been addressed in the subsequent firmware updates. I'm more focused on UI and experience. I know I'll be getting a good upgrade with DSP and blocks and the upgraded Agoura amps and Proxy will be a nice upgrade to sound as well.

I'm hoping it's been a long enough time since launch that it's a much more stable experience closer to the OG Helix and I can enjoy the upgrades more than worrying about things like snapshot bugs.

Multi network with 3 networks possible?

I’ve moved my phone line to US Mobile a couple days ago and it’s been great. I signed up for Premium with multi network add on and noticed the option to add a third network. I’m just curious how that works with my dual eSIM iPhone 17? I’m using warp as primary and settled on Lightspeed for the second network. While I don’t think Dark Star is necessary to add on top in my area, having quick access instead of doing a network transfer sounds very convenient. Anyone able to shed light on third network adding and if there’s another multi network add on cost for adding third network.

I realize this is very silly to consider and very much unnecessary but I’m just very curious

dual esim and multi network add on questions

Been using Unlimited Starter Light Speed on iPad for the past week and it’s been great. Coverage and speeds are solid and I’m looking to port my primary line soon on Warp on Unlimited Premium. Considering adding multi network add on with maybe Dark Star as the second network just to maximize my coverage options but I’m looking to get some clarification. I understand that I can set my default line for voice and I’ll get some phone calls here and there but the data coverage is more important for me so I’m curious how other people have experienced the use of multi network and best ways to ensure you get the best coverage/speeds/signal between the two sim. I’m using iPhone and I’m familiar with potentially setting up shortcut to quickly switch networks but would that mean when I switch the networks it also switches voice line default selection or no?

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a slim case that’s available now that will work and verified for the current M4 models. I’ve searched google, amazon, and this subreddit and can’t seem to find something guaranteed to work

So I’ve done some research into switching and would love some insights. Ive got a primary line currently on Xfinity Mobile because of their year free promotion. Service was ok coming from Verizon but since it was free it was negligible. I have a second phone which was on Visible Plus and it was used for work related stuff but at the moment it’s not active. I’m looking to switch to US Mobile as the free year is coming to an end and I like the option of having flexibility switching between networks as opposed to Visible. The primary line will be moved but I’m curious about adding the second line and how multi line “family” plan works. Not a lot of info on the site. One of the lines will probably be set up for multi network and the other line will likely be unlimited starter. I’m thinking a bit long term and potentially adding a tablet line as well. Can anyone give some info on discounts/costs and tablet usage as well

Appreicate in advance
