the BGC14-15 house has been turned into a rehab facility
it’s so odd to see hows these houses look without all the BGC decorations / customizations. i’m curious to see how the other BGC houses look on the inside now

something i am seeing that is being misinterpreted lately is Shamea’s cease and desist against Angela. people think it means Angela can’t speak or touch on her issues with Shamea at all when that is not the case. a cease and desist is to stop someone from spreading misinformation. if y’all pay attention in interviews and in the trailer for the reunion Shamea says “speak up or pay up”. that means if Angela has concrete evidence that Shamea did indeed sleep with all these men she’s lying on her about she is 100% free to speak on it, however if she doesn’t and continues to spread her lies she indeed would be breaching the cease and desist.
in my personal opinion Shamea was smart for doing that as it automatically exposes not only Angela but all of Team Porsha for blatantly lying on her. if they are so confident she is sleeping around as much as they claim they better name names. if not keep that mouth shut moving forward
Carole’s return is problematic regardless but i’m glad that Bravo isn’t just ignoring the elephant in the room. I doubt it but i hope the women call her out for downplaying her friendship with Ghislaine Maxwell. I fear Carole is going to try to focus specifically on the fact that she’s not a sex trafficker (which i believe she isn’t) to try an avoid accountability for possibly having some knowledge on what Maxwell was involved in
while I understand people love Child’s Play 2, I can’t help but feel it is significantly inferior to the first movie. the first Child’s Play has a certain sinister style and horror element it that can’t be duplicated. the horror is effective and Chucky is genuinely at his scariest here. while i enjoy how campier the sequels became, i do wish we got more of this Chucky.
Palex is such a beloved ship in the fandom. however, I think a lot of people like Palex because of the character development it gave us for Paige and Alex more than they liked the relationship itself.
the birth of Palex was such an important part of Degrassi. during Palex we got to see a different side of both characters. for Paige we got to see our first OG Degrassi character form a romantic relationship with another woman. this was such massive step for Degrassi especially because it was with someone who she hated last season. we got to see this Type A character like Paige fall for someone who was a huge 180 from her which was a great enemies to lovers storyline. we also got to see them slowly go from enemies, to friends, to lovers over a span of two seasons. it was amazingly done.
in regards to Alex we finally got to learn who she was as a person. while Alex has been a recurring character since S3, she was characterized as just Jay’s girlfriend, a minion of his crew, and a huge bully. as the show progressed we started getting more glimpses of her personality but never a clear window as to why she is the way that she is. it wasn’t until the formation of Palex we were first introduced to her home life and found out she comes from an emotionally (and possibly physically) abusive home with a neglectful mom. with Paige in her life we also start to see a softer lighter side to Alex, one that doesn’t look miserable all the time but one that actually is a sweet person at the core.
both these characters blossomed when they were together but that doesn’t mean they were actually good together. Degrassi couples are drama filled but Palex takes the cake. each episode centered around them was toxic. it was riddled with Paige talking down to Alex and Alex being very dismissive of Paige’s goals. they were two opposite people that just couldn’t seem to get it right. when i rewatch their scenes it’s actually painful to see how Paige treats Alex especially when she doesn’t deserve it half the time. Paige needed to be with someone who was secure in their future and understood the importance of planning. Alex needed someone who was going to love her unconditionally and wasn’t trying to change her.
overall i understand why Palex is loved but i do think a lot of people love them for developing these two amazing characters instead of loving them actually being together
