People who grew up with one parent from an early age how bad did it effect you ?

I’m about to turn 40 this year, my dad passed away from cancer when I was 2 years old and I never had a male influence in my life growing up, my mum stayed single till she died 4 years ago.

I almost feel like not having a dad made me progress a lot slower in life. I didn’t have anyone to teach me things like working on cars and have always felt less manly. I’ve only just become ok a diy over the last 3-4 years. I was also very hot headed and could lose my temper very easily(this never resulted in voilence) felt like I struggled to keep my emotions under control a lot of the time.

Would love to hear how/if having only one parent affected people for the better or worse

Had gas and electric meters replaced not sending readings

Had my meter replaced and changed from smet 1 to smet2. Ihd still shows awaiting data and it’s not sending readings I’m having to input it manually. However I can see my usage in the app. It’s been 33 days and bg say have to wait 35 before contacting them has anyone else had this problem ?
