Persistent Numbness - I am SCARED 😭

I was released from the hospital Thursday after having a swift and severe hemiplegic migraine. Most of my aura has resolved, except I am experiencing persistent numbness in my face and my extremities; all of it is right sided. I was taken via ambulance because of how sudden my symptoms came on and received the full stroke code. The neurosurgeon and attending physician ruled out TIA and stroke. I won’t be able to hear back from my neurologist until Monday. But I am contemplating going back to ER.

Has anyone ever had numbness that won’t go away?
How was it treated? Were you seen by cardiology? Just looking for some guidance.

Pain Relief

I’m at a point where the daily pain is just depressing. I saw my doctor’s PA today and she’s putting me on the surgical schedule for a plexus nerve block and repeat EUS.

I need help with pain relief in the meantime. I can’t keep going like this. I’m out of sick time at work, and I also have severe migraines (thank you perimenopause) and 3 herniated discs in my back and osteoarthritis in my back and hips. It’s just too much.

I also can’t take NSAIDs due to my liver.

It just pisses me off to no end bc all of the digestive issues I currently have were 100% preventable. My gallbladder attacks got labeled anxiety and heartburn for a YEAR (cuz what else could be wrong with Black woman of childbearing age🙄) and now I’m just living with constant pain in my digestive tract.
