How to get driving experience on a budget in Stockholm without qualified family/friends?

I'm an EU citizen, based in Stockholm, and currently studying. I also don't have family or friends who I can rely on that meet the requirements of a driving mentor. As I am doing a PhD, I'll be here for a while and it would be nice to rent cars when vacationing somewhere with poor public transport. I don't plan on owning a car in Stockholm.

I checked a nearby school and a 70 minute session would cost 1,400 SEK which is steep for me if I need 20-30 lessons. I know I cannot expect a cheap jouney, but if there are any tips that could help reduce this financial barrier, I would be happy to look into it. Someone recommended the Trafiko app which is slightttttly cheaper at 1,250 and for 80 mins, but there has to be other ways too?

How do you feel about and deal with direct reports wanting to change teams/divisions?

I've been with this healthcare company for nearly 2 years and this current team for 9 months. Both roles within medical devices but entirely different teams. And I've come to realize I don't enjoy the medical devices business nor do I see anyone within the team that has a role I desire. Given my background in biotech, I would like to move to their pharma division which I feel would be a better fit.

As a manager, how would you feel if a direct report came to you to with a desire to change businesses/divisions during their development plan? As a direct report, I struggle to get over the need to pretend I like my role/function and I would think some managers would feel threatening by this idea even if my timeline is a year.
