Drow Nobles of Menzoberranzan
First thing I did was track down all the noble houses of Menzoberranzan

So Baenre is of course number one but then going down from there, the list is based on houses that were originally above others (they move around a lot), so Oblodra is House 3, but they didn't stay there very long before being mostly destroyed and taken off the list. But my goal isn't to get the most accurate list, it's to get a list of pretty much everyone, so Oblodra stays number 3 for the purposes of this list which means other houses that otherwise would have been higher are now lower for all the destroyed houses above them. The ranks also fall apart a bit towards the very bottom.
The goal is to run a campaign in Menzoberranzan where players get to see the history happen, so when Oblodra is destroyed (maybe the players will help with that, maybe they'll prevent it from happening) either way, they'll hear about it in game. Assuming my players don't have an in depth knowledge of Menzoberranzan beyond Drizzt and Jarlaxle.
I rolled randomly to see how many nobles each house had, based on the known number of nobles in the houses around it in rank.
But then the next thing I did was google every single drow noble in Menzoberranzan that belonged to any of these houses and gave them combat levels. Some it was easy, they already have levels listed, but most I just made up. Sometimes I would make up the level based on something, like if it said that someone was killed by a Glabrezu, ok so that person probably has a lower level than a base Glabrezu CR. That sort of stuff. If a drow had finished school, I assumed at least level 5. I also took notes as I read through, anything that I could affect a character's combat ability, but that was secondary to just finishing the list.
Anyway, many of the numbers are made up so not canon, so if it's not useful to you please ignore, but if anybody wants my take on Menzoberranzan noble stats, here you go! It will still need some homebrew work to get everything put together but hopefully someone will find it useful.
