What questions do you actually ask when interviewing a babysitter?

Most parents go in asking about experience and availability. But the question that actually tells you the most? "What would you do if my child refused to listen to you?"

How they answer tells you a lot about how they handle pressure and whether they'll actually communicate with you honestly.

A few other underrated questions:

  • What do you do when a kid won't eat?
  • Have you ever had to call a parent back early? What happened?
  • What's your favourite thing to do with kids when they're bored?

What questions have worked well for you?
