From listening to push it my algorithms are now all saturated with Static X and Matt Zane (a neutral perspective)
Ok I remember push it from a movie soundtrack when I was a very young man, I am now forty. I am a big fan of music but really only listened to Push It 25+ years ago.
THEN I saw some more static x videos on facebook, eventually Zane's clips started showing up and now I get Static X on my reddit front page. Lol all good. I dont mind.
On the Zane drama, my biggest red flag came when a clip Zane posted of him recording a very bloated Wayne Static. Ok wow he looks like shit in this I thought to myself, and then the cameraman (zane) pans and zooms into Tera like grooving out on stage like a 70s go go dancer. Ok is that the evil disco theyre talking about?
It just seemed very out of place for a nu industrial metal song. And then I read about how Zane knew Tera and how he like tagged along and hung out and recorded videos and stuff. But he used to hang out with her and record porno with her as the star also?
The video cameraman zooming in on Tera in the beginning of that song and not even staying on Wayne was a huge red flag. Also any guy with friends knows if you go off the deep end on drugs, you will lose your good pals because they dont want to see you destroy yourself. Especially double if you meet a new girl that you become obsessed over, your homies will see right through that shit!
Now I dont know if Wayne really was great friends with Zane or what
But him zooming in on that woman was creepy as hell
