A friend is considering starting a dojo in LA.

EDIT: Judo and BJJ

What would be the best places to do this? There are so many dojos everywhere these days.

Places with perhaps lots of young families with disposable income and who would value this — and not completely overrun with competition yet? Thoughts?

Has anyone had any good experiences or any recommendations for mobility coaches who understand the requirements of BJJ and also are excellent at systematically diagnosing and assessing an older guy's various mobility and flexibility problems and fixing them?

There's so much half information, misinformation, and lack of rigor online, it's hard to know who to trust.

Any success stories?

Preferably w/in 20 minutes of Silver Lake.

Any recs?
