CMV: People who would save their children (life or death) over this spouse are disgusting.

I got a lot of online hate for saying I'd prefer to save my wife in a life or death situation over my kids (I don't have any). Please don't bother saying I'll understand when I have kids because by that logic we shouldn't be able to comment or debate on a million other things and I just don't wanna hear that please.

The fact that you can make more kids aside, I can't imagine loving anything more than I love my spouse, esp. someone who I or they didn't get to pick. You can't choose any relation (parent, sibling, child etc.) other than your spouse and my spouse is who I vowed to be with and protect forever and she's the most amazing thing to ever happen to me.

How can you love someone more than the person who picks you/you pick

Moreover, you're ok swapping the very person who gave you the person you're tryna save means you don't love your spouse (to me).

I'm honestly so sad that all these crazy people are the ones having a bunch of kids lol

So when I get on different insurance websites and estimate as a freelancer or something, it gives me something like $150-200ish a month for my wife and I, and it gives dental coverage of up to $800ish.

I'm not sure how it works but isn't it better to not have insurance? Let's say a filling costs $200, so that means I'm paying $150 x 12 = $1800 a year to get 4 fillings ($800/$200 = 4) when I could pay $200 x 4 = $800 without insurance?

Am I missing something or what?
