did the vendor RO uses for trash and recycling change? i've noticed some oddities lately, being:

1. our recycling bin did not get emptied the previous two weeks
2. recycling like amazon boxes etc that we used to put next to the bin are not being picked up
3. extra trash bags placed next to the bin are not being picked up
4. furniture pieces are seemingly not being picked up. theres a few still out on the curb today (pickup day) on our street despite both bins being emptied already. (i know the day isnt over yet)

Edit: they came by around 645 and got the stuff. I did not have to contact them.

On the Spell tab, it would be useful to have a control to filter only spells the current character / level can cast.

I retired in June. I voluntarily took over household cleaning and management - grocery shopping, organizing donations, all the day to day. I have never been happier doing things that I can see improve my and my spouse's lives on a simple but impactful level every day. Gassed up cars. Lawns mowed. Bins emptied. Dogs walked. Mail retrieved and sorted. Appointments made and met. Doing the things that were a burden before but now are things I can do, and like doing, that my spouse doesnt have to think about.

I used to be responsible for billions of dollars of assets that were not mine. It paid well. Now I think about optimal placement of the waste bin in the laundry room after reorganizing the space. And when I come back the next day I pause and say "nice". And my spouse says "nice".

Sweat the numbers, but good lord when you pull the cord, stop and just enjoy it. Every second you are not thinking about Outlook or Teams or Slack or Claude or any of that poison.

Anyway, a message from the other side to say that winning doesnt need to mean fireworks. As ever, the most important things are the small things.

FIREd last Friday at 49 after 24 years at my final job. This is the first Sunday in over 15 years I will not be doing some amount of work.
