2025 Kylaq Prestige (Software 0873) – Can the new 2026 infotainment/voice AC features be added via software update?
Hi everyone,
I own a 2025 Skoda Kylaq Prestige with the 10-inch infotainment.
My current system information is:
Software: 0873
Device Part Number: 6JM035180
Hardware: H04
Recently I’ve seen videos of newer 2026 Kylaq Prestige/Prestige Plus models where the infotainment seems to have:
Voice commands to control the AC (e.g. “set temperature to 22°C”)
On-screen HVAC controls integrated into the infotainment
A slightly updated UI
I’m trying to figure out whether these features are:
Just a newer software/firmware update,
Enabled through dealer coding (ODIS),
Or if they require different infotainment hardware altogether.
Has anyone with a 2025 Kylaq successfully updated from software 0873 (or similar) to a newer version?
If you own a 2026 Kylaq Prestige/Prestige Plus, could you please check:
Settings → System → System Information
and share:
Software version
Device Part Number
Hardware version
That would really help determine whether both cars use the same hardware and if the new features could potentially be added to older cars.
