Bout 4 years ago had the realization that I could not observe the unobserved breath. So it was futile in trying to breathe properly. Today I found that it applies to sitting as well. Once set up, with cushion or chair, whatnot, just sit. Idk. It was profound in my personal practice of 8-9 years, albeit very infrequently. SOUNDS SIMPLE and may not apply to your practice but I feel very good about today’s session.

I’m thinking of picking up flute. I played trumpet for about 6 years when I was a teenager and I was so passionate, but have lost nearly all that skill with just some remanentes of music theory. I don’t have my trumpet anymore either. I think I wanna pick up an instrument seriously again after about 10 years of not playing much of anything. I’m wondering if ya’ll have any feedback on where to start. I’m thinking of getting a teacher if I am to, and I really just am not 100% sure of how things will go.. and I don’t know what type of flute would be good to begin with. My main question is just about what type of flute would be a good to begin with. Any other input is welcome :)
