Which Microsft version should I buy?

I've been using Microsoft Word (and ppt, excel etc) for free thanks to my uni giving me access even after I graduated. But recently they updated their terms I supposed and the licenses given to graduates have been revoked. I'm not very tech savvy so I'm not too sure about using any other alternatives especially since I need it for work. But I don't mind trying out alts.

Although for now my question is that buying microsoft word as an individual is too expensive and my work doesn't provide it ofc. So which version should I buy, I'm getting options to buy for business (which seems cheaper) vs personal (which seems expensive). Do let me know which is ideal?

Also if anyone has any suggestions for getting the suite for free somehow do let me know.

Thanks in advance!

Fun events in Seoul + Meet locals

Hi, my friend and I are visiting Seoul from India (we are both 30F) and are looking for fun experiences. We'd seen lots of reels especially of make up pop up stores where you get free merch and even some pop ups happening where you get to see k-pop idols. We'd like to know if anything like that is happening in the next one week so that we can try and explore Seoul and also get to watch fun free performances. (We'd seen reels of k-pop idols performing on the roads for free as pop ups. Is that true?)

Besides that we would also like to meet locals and go street food hopping or even just hang out to bicycle at han river etc. If there are any curated groups who do that like language classes etc then it would be really great to know about this as well.

Thanks in adva5

Heartbroken: Flew across the world for Caratland 2026, but got locked out of ticketing. Is there any safe way for international Carats to get tickets now?

Hi everyone,

I’m writing this from the Arex I boarded towards Seoul, and honestly, my friend and I are just so heartbroken right now. 😭

We saved up for months and booked this entire trip to Korea specifically to experience Caratland 2026 together. It’s been our absolute dream. But when presale happened, we kept getting completely kicked out of the ticketing system. Some Carats on X told us it’s a known issue for international fans, which just hurts so much because we tried so hard.

We just landed in Korea today, and knowing the boys are going to be performing just a few miles away from us this weekend while we're stuck outside is a total gut-punch.

We are desperate to go, but we know Korea has incredibly strict laws and identity checks regarding resold tickets now. We are terrified of getting scammed or turned away at the gate. Money isn't really the issue for us—we just want authentic, safe tickets where we won't face entry issues, and ideally without paying thousands to awful scalpers who exploit fans.

Does anyone have any advice, tips, or legal loopholes for international fans trying to get last-minute tickets on the ground in Seoul? Is there a safe way to check for official cancellations, or a verified resale platform?

Any guidance would mean the absolute world to us right now. Thank you so much in advance. 💎

Skincare/cosmetics for Indian skin in Korea

Hi

I am an Indian travelling to Korea for a trip and I was wondering if any one would know what kind of cosmetics or skincare would be the best-buy option no matter the skin type.

I have a mix of oily and sensitive skin so ofc I'll look into the products before actually buying them and already use some Korean products. But any tips for discounts or products would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance

Going to Kor from 19 -30 June. Any recs?

Hello!

My friend and I are going to Korea between 19 to 30 June 2026. And while we have done our research but wanted to know if there are any must try places to visit (or even food to eat) that you'd recommend. And if there are any free travel hacks for foreigners or any discounts that we should look out for. Any or all tips are welcomed! Btw we will be visiting Seoul and Busan but open to any day trips from here. (Don't want to do Jeju as we don't have budget or time)

We're both very excited to go to Korea and want to get the most out of this trip especially since we are trying to travel on a budget. Lol.

Would also want to try those group local street food or pub crawls so any info on that would also be appreciated. Anywhere we can make friends with the locals :D

Thanks in advance!
