Hiring for youth/group care
I’m currently looking for qualified people interested in working in a group care home supporting youth. I have a few different opportunities available depending on your experience:
Senior Youth Worker – 1 position
This would be a good opportunity for someone with experience in the field who is interested in developing their leadership skills and learning more about leadership within the non-profit sector.
Front-Line Youth Worker – 1 position
Looking for someone with approximately 1–5 years of experience working with youth, ideally in a lower-acuity group care, residential, or similar setting.
Relief Youth Workers – Ongoing
I’m always interested in connecting with students or newer workers looking to gain experience in the field. Relief work can be a great way to build experience while working around a school schedule.
Minimum requirements:
Diploma or degree in a health or social services field (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Nursing, Child and Youth Care, or a related field)
Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check, completed within the last 6 months
Child Intervention Record Check, completed within the last 6 months
Current First Aid certification
The cost of the Criminal Record Check can be reimbursed for successful candidates.
Please note: These requirements need to be in place before I can move forward with an interview, so please make sure you have the required education, checks, and First Aid before reaching out.
If you’re interested, send me a message with a little bit about your education and experience, what position you’re interested in, and I can provide more information.
