Long story short and I won't say for what, but I got arrested and charged a couple weeks ago. I'm lawyered up and confident with how things will proceed but slightly concerned as the case hasn't reached the Crown yet. There are circumstances around wanting my case to hit the Crown that are fairly important and its been fairly distressing to say the least.

Anybody else with recent experience deal with the legal system lately? I heard at one point it should take a week but yeah I don't know, never planned on this happening in my life lol.

I was arrested and charged earlier this week with criminal harassment (cops told us to stop talking to each other and we clearly didn't) and I was given a NCO.

Issue is they live across the street. its 10m from their residence when im in my home and 200M otherwise. Am I literally trapped in my home? I was going to file for a bail or consent variation tomorrow but from everything I'm reading I literally can't for go a walk or get a beer at a closeby bar.
