Switching to combo feeding to preserve sanity

Moms who switched to combo feeding to preserve their sanity-I’d love to hear your experience!

I have a one-month-old baby and I’m thinking about replacing the feeding around midnight with formula. That’s the time when I’m still exhausted but can usually manage to pump, and I’m wondering if giving her formula instead might help her sleep a little longer.

I’m also considering replacing one morning feed with formula.
I’m mainly looking for advice from anyone who has done something similar - did it work for you? Did it help you get a little more sleep/sanity, and how did you manage pumping when replacing feeds with formula?

Confused by the conflicting opinions of my doctors - 35w1d, cervix 17mm

My cervix shortened from 25 mm to 17 mm in one week (today at 35+1 weeks).
My doctor told me that labor could start at any time, but that it also might not. I was sent to the hospital, where they told me that everything was fine. I don’t know what to think. I’m on bed rest as instructed by my gynecologist, but at the hospital they told me that I don’t need to rest.

What are your experiences?

I would still really like to make it to 37 weeks, though.

34+1, cervix 25mm

A week ago, at 34w+1d, I was told that my cervix was 25 mm long and I was put on strict bed rest. The baby is low down and head-down. Now I’m waiting for a follow-up cervical length measurement at 35w+1d. I have no idea how long the cervix is supposed to be when entering the 36th week. Does anyone have similar experiences? Did you become more active as you got closer to 37 weeks (early term)?
