So I've learning how to use comfyui and I was hyped by minimax h3. I don't have a pc I can use, so I saw the option to use a cloud gpu service like vast. I'd like to know what's your guys' experience on using the service. Which gpu did you guys rent? How much time are you spending on it? How much are you guys paying per month? Also are you guys using the persistent storage or are you outsourcing from a different storage system? Would appreciate any suggestions.

Hello, I'm trying to learn how to use comfyui and specifically minimax h3 through it. I don't have a pc that I can run any of this, but I've been learning about renting cloud gpu through runpod/vast ai using my laptop. I have some questions if someone could answer them.

Do I download comfyui and minimax h3 locally onto my laptop?

Can I save the workflows locally? Or is it only saved to my account on the cloud?

I don't care about amazing video quality, I only plan to create around 480p/6-10s clips. What specs should I look for when renting to create something, and what would be the average creation time? I'm coming from using Grok, and I'm hoping to be able to create videos in under 2 min.

Since I'm plan to use a cloud gpu, is it somehow possible to create stuff through my phone? I plan to add all the workflows and do initial setups on my laptop. Would I need to remotely control my laptop or can I work directly from my phone since it's on an account?

I might have more questions, but I can't think of anymore atm. Appreciate the help.

Every update is genuinely just worse now. I'm not using real people for imagine. I'm using different characters with different art styles. Now it simplifies it to some shitty ghibli studio design. No amounts of positive prompts (negative prompts don't even work) allows me to even keep the same face profile. Grok used to be able to do this before 1.5. They genuinely don't give a shit about us. And no this is not a lighting issue.

I honestly hate the 1.5 update. It lost the ability to animate 2d character uploaded images as it is in the image since it will always try to enhance the image to its likeness. I've tried multiple negative prompts, but it always brightens the image up and smoothes out the character into a shiny AI imagery. The only way I've gotten it to work is by using two images at the same time, but that introduces poor resolution weird color morphing/blending and it's always cropped to a 3:2 ratio.

Not only that, but 1.5 lost its freedom of randomly related expression. People have noticed it before on here that putting a simple line of direction in the past model would output a really great creative scene, but now it's all bland and too robotic. It's annoying to script a massive piece of text which still inevitably get moderated for who knows what 2 or 3 words they considered taboo today. And even then, the creative expression is not there and simply monotonous. 1.5 is a forced downgrade.

Is the server down right now? Are you guys getting delayed image edits at 75% and video generations at 20% often resetting at taking 10x longer to generate? Wouldn't put it past them to do something like this.

Has anyone tried animating uploaded images of non photo realistic characters. Everything now changes immediately towards realistic or plastic 3d anime without keeping the original art style like it used to before. This update sucks so much for keeping the original aesthetic. Grok was the only one able to perfectly replicate and animate without changing the look. I hate this imagine update.
