Does anyone know anyone looking to get into the sport?

I've got a bunch of skydiving and base gear that I would let go for a great price to anyone trying to work their way into the sport. I had a lot of people help me out getting into skydiving and base and I'd like to pass it along.

I'm 6'1" 190 lbs.

My Analysis of Introit and Prophecy at 1420 MHz

Based on the first two songs from the album, Introit and Prophecy at 1420 MHz, I believe one of the album's core themes will be humanity's relationship with God, but not the God that we are familiar with. I would call him God of the Religion of Modernity. That is, the system of beliefs encompassing science, government, capitalism, technology, etc. In other words, the system of beliefs that are almost universally shared throughout the majority of the world's population.

An introit is an opening chant at the beginning of the Eucharist, where Christians accept the sacrifice of Jesus by consuming bread and wine (grain and alcohol, but that's another discussion). Boards of Canada's "Introit", however, is not referencing a Christian Eucharist, but rather strongly resembles the opening of a public broadcasting show, perhaps something produced by the National Film Board of Canada. This sets the stage for the religion of the album not being that of one of the world's Abrahamic religions, but rather of a different religion with connections to government and media. Christians believe that there is some sort of special presence of Christ at the Eucharist, and in the next track, we hear the voice of God.

The title, "Prophecy at 1420 MHz", implies a spiritual message in the context of science, because, of course, frequency is a scientific measurement. To me, the beginning of the track sounds like a summoning during some sort of cult ceremony, and when the beat kicks in, it's almost as if God himself has entered to the ceremony. We hear God speak in terms of who he is. He is the "end". He is "nothingness". He is "the insensitive image of the modern world." He is "the scientific view of nature." This establishes that the god we are listening to is the god of the modern world.

I encourage listeners of the album to think of this god from Inferno not as the god from religion as we know him, but as the god that we don't know but is ever present. I'm talking about the god that drives all technological progress, the god of the Religion of Science, the god that guides our nations' leaders, the god of money, the god that the vast majority of the world's population worships and yet doesn't even realize it.

And in classic Boards of Canada fashion, after the opening of the worship service and the voice of God, at the end of Prophecy, they leave the listeners with some of the chillest music I've ever heard, even if short lived.
