Decided to design a velocity stack for the Nibbi PE24 carb on my 224cc build. Printed in PLA for prototyping. Making a few adjustments to add heatserts/set screws to attach it to the carb. If it all works, I'll print it out of some ABS and vapor smooth it to get a nice finish.
On a trip last week to Austin TX, I was able to catch 3 Atta Texana queens after a nuptial flight. I brought them back home and made a nice founding formicarium for them. They already have a small cluster of eggs but I don't see any fungus. I am unsure if their pellets were dropped or maybe the fungus just didn't survive the journey home. So now I am reaching out to see if anyone here in the US has an Atta colony that can spare a small porting of fungus to get these queens going. Of course I will pay for the fungus and the shipping.
