Dupixent and scalp eczema

Hey! For around 1.5 years now I have been on a LONG journey with my dermatologist, trying to overcome my new forth skin issues. It’s been a serious debate abt whether it is psoriasis or exczema. I’ve had severalll biopsies and I still don’t have a definitive answer. My scalp biopsy showed mainly psoriasis (the first time the dr discussed the results with me) , my skin biopsies have proven it to be eczema. I’ve tried many creams and shampoos which has definitely decreased my flares but it’s all been quite short term. My doc now wants me to go on dupixent. I’ve heard great things about it and would love it. However, my scalp is my biggest issue, and I just want to know if Dupixent has helped anybody’s scalp?

My scalp issue: flaky, weepy patches. Comes back in at least 12 hrs after washing my hair. Can be very itchy and burn. Ahhh it went away for quite some time and now it’s back and I don’t know why!!!😭 took time for granted for real.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Consistent pacing help

Ran my first 12k today. Was TOUGH. Not too happy abt the pace, but I ran the full length without stopping!!! Once done, I looked at the pace graph and whoa it’s wacko. How do I improve/change this to be more consistent?

At around km 4 my calves were aching so I tried to slow down there intentionally (coincidentally that was my most consistent part of the race lol)?

Also any tips to running 14km well would be greatly appreciated!! (Eg fuelling, & what to do when sore during the run..)

Thanks in advance!!

City 2 Surf First Timer / 14k run advice pls!!

hello!! I ran my longest run yet the other day (8km, 7.05min/km pace). Ngl quite gutted with the pace (my fast long run pace is usually around 6min/km), but oh well.

I am doing city2surf (aus) this year for the first time, and would love to do well!! I was hoping for a sub 6min pace time but doesnt look too likely now. would love a sub 90min. Does anyone have any tips on how i can train from now til the day? I have been using Nike Run Club thus far. And do you think a sub 90 is achievable? My biggest fear is honestly heartbreak hill (cliche, right?). Also do i need gels lol or is that just quite extra?

The weather in syd has been so crap lately so any treadmill advice too pls? also ive been getting shin splints!!

What word vomit up there!!! Overall, im just grateful for any advice about anything city2surf / longer distance running related. Thank you!!!!

comp1531 rant

look.......it is so great that this test is open book and what not but the course is genuinely so POORLY STRUCTURED.

like WHAAAT DO YOU MEAN there is only ONE practice test

and WHAATT do you mean they only have ONE additional resource for practice and that is literal javascript revision which is NO WHERE NEAR the difficulty of the actual programming in the test. and also, not to mention - most of the test will be in TYPESCRIPT not stupid JAVASCRIPT - so we dont have ANY practice resources for the content that we will actually be tested on????

and i keep coding, and things keep popping out and im like i swear we have not been learnt this, yet expected to use it??? LIKE WEHRE HAVE WE BEEN TAUGHT IT DUDE

UGH I GIVE THIS COURSE A 2/10. BAD. BAD BAD.

the forum is quite pointless so gunna put this here:

  1. how is the exam generally structured - what variations of questions are ALWAYS there --> also this is the first time henry is writing the paper right?
  2. any tips for me to eat this up?
  3. oh and do we have to write code for sorting stuff or is that mainly just in the theory section?
