T-Mobile MVNO shows HSPA / 3G roaming as 4G?

Using Tello while roaming on du's 3G network in the UAE. Still shows 4G for HSPA just like T-Mobile's 3G in the US! Phone is an unlocked international model Leica Leitzphone (by Xiaomi), but the same thing occurs on my T-Mobile unlocked CAT S22 Flip. Discovered this when finding out calls drop to "4G" due to no VoLTE roaming... Real LTE shows LTE+ or LTE.
